Chapter 1: First Day, First Punch

Chapter Text

Would you do anything to save your loved one?

Even if it means destroying everything?

To Gabriel Agreste, it was a solid yes.

His love, his muse, his wife — his everything. Emilie. She was the one who brought joy and light in this dull world of his. She was the reason for him to aim higher and higher until where he was now.

She was his angel.

An angel that was taken away from him.

Grey eyes stared passed the glass. Even in this porcelain box, she looked as ethereal as ever. Not lively, yet ethereal nonetheless.

Gloved hand rested upon the glass. How could something so gorgeous could be snuffed out by a mere disease.

But it fine. Gabriel sighed through his nose. It will be. Once he had the Miraculouses of Ladybug and Black Cat, once he made his wish, all will be full again. Emilie will return to him, and this broken family will be whole again.

Now, all he needed was to call out the bug and the cat.

Behind him, Duusuu curled to be smaller when the man gripped on a gleaming gold brooch.

"Are you certain that the Peacock has been activate?"

"Yes, Master. I'm certain. I can sense Duusuu's fear. Whoever has him now, it isn't someone's worthy, unlike the last time."

"...this is troublesome indeed. I must intervene and rescue Duusuu at once!"

"But, Master. You're old."

"Hey—"

"You cracked your bones just by trying to do a simple backflip. I don't want to call ambulance for you again."

"..."

"Denial of your nonexistent youth doesn't fit you, Master."

"Alright, alright! Then I guess I must send other people to rescue Duusuu."

"That's a good idea. Which Miraculous will you send out?"

"Hmm... I'm thinking for the Ladybug and the Black Cat."

"That's a terrible idea."

"Wayzz?"

"No offense, Master. But you know there was a specific reason why Ladybug and Black Cat had the strictest rules usage among the Miraculouses. And whoever this holder of Duusuu, if he or she found out what both Ladybug and Black Cat could do, it'd be horrible consequences for the entire world, Master."

"Hmm... you have a point there... or maybe I could send just the Ladybug, since the healing and purification are require."

"I agreed on that, Master. But just the Ladybug alone?"

"No. Two heroes should suffice. A higher chance on facing Duusuu's new holder."

"How about three?"

"Hmm? That would be harder to handle."

"Yes, but if Duusuu's new holder is able to get one of the heroes' Miraculouses, then Duusuu's new holder would have better advantage. And taking in the account of the Peacock's nature... we need all the lucks we could get, Master."

"You're right, Wayzz. Thank you for your insight. I was blind back then."

"Your welcome, Master. Well? Who did you choose?"

"I guess I must find the heroes first, then I decide who fits them the most. That way, I know I just hit the right mark, Wayzz."

Today was the worst day of her life.

How couldn't it not be? She and Marc barely made it to school before the bells ring, they managed to avoid Chloe's annoying demands, and just when the day was getting good— a huge, monster made of boulders showed up out of nowhere and started to attack the city.

"Run, everyone—Alya! Where are you going?!"

"To the monster!"

Was Alya insane?

"What? Why?!"

"To get records of this!"

Yeah, she was.

"Are you crazy?!" That was from Marc. "You could get stomped out there!"

"Don't worry!" There was so much to worry about. "When villains show up, there'd be heroes too! And I won't miss it!"

Yeah. And they won't miss you when you get squished by that beast. Nice knowing you, Alya.

"Oh god."

"She's gonna die, isn't she?"

"If that won't kill her, her mother would."

So, watching their maniac friend chased after the rock monster, Marinette and Marc made a wise decision to return back home. Totally not because they tried to skip school and hiding away from the monster. Yup.

"You think Alya will be fine?" Marc asked his sister as they climbed to her room.

Marinette shrugged. "I don't know. But I read somewhere idiots are hard to kill."

Dang. She really didn't hold back.

They arrived to Marinette's room, which was the wiser choice than Marc's bedroom because the boy hadn't clean it yet. The boy yawned, his mouth was barely covered by his palm as he sauntered over the pink couch and dropped his bag to the floor. Marinette had the same lazy reaction, only leaning on to her gaming chair. Her fingers were quick to type open her computer, which lit up revealing wallpaper of hamsters.

She went to the news side, and watched as the familiar face of Nadja Chamack occupied her screen. The rock monster was still attacking as it seemed.

"Hmm... still ongoing, huh?" The girl murmured. Her bluebell eyes slid idly to her desk, and paused when she spotted something abnormal.

By abnormal, it was a black hexagon box with odd red logo on top of it. She picked it up, it nearly the size of her palm.

"What is this? Drug?"

"Mar, I know you love money but I'll report you if you do drugs."

She whirled around on her chair. "Snitch," she said.

Marc rolled his eyes. "It's better than telling maman. What's that in your hand?"

The other shrugged. "I don't know. Drug?" She opened the box, only to drop it when a tiny, purplish beaming light came out of it. "What—?!"

"Hello!" A tiny, quite adorable, lilac coloured creature materialised. It had wings that akin to a butterfly's on its back, with a swirling pattern on its forehead and wide lilac eyes. "Greetings, my dear Mistress! I am—," it stopped to gap at Marc when it noticed his presence.

Marc too wielded the same expression. "What?! Is? That? Mar????"

"How should I know I thought that thing was drug!"

Or maybe they were on drugs.

Petite hand grabbing the nearest ‐ stabbable - item she could get ‐ which was a pen - the girl straight up raised her arm and stabbed the weird, totally not a drug, flying thing.

But it managed to notice her attempt, as it able to flew away before the pen hits her target. "Oh wow— um, this is bad..."

"Which one?" Marc questioned. "You're being here or my sister trying to kill you?"

"Well," it dodged another attempt, "it's more like you're being here," it quickly corrected its words at the offended look on Marc's face. "No no! Please don't misunderstood! What I meant is, nobody else except for the chosen supposed to know our existence!"

"Chosen?" Marc parroted, emerald eyes trailed after the creature as it flew from Marinette's countless attacks. "Are you saying my sister is a chosen? A chosen for what?"

"Superpowers!" It squeaked. "And please stop attacking me! I mean no harm!"

Marinette narrowed her eyes as she complimenting. Finally, she decided to stop once she realised that this creature didn't seem harmful at all. Although, her grip on the pen wasn't lessen.

"Alright. I trust you won't hurt us, for now," she sighed and eyed the creature while Marc got closer to them. "What even are you?"

Relief the assault finally stopped, the lilac creature smiled politely at both children. "First of all, my name is Nooroo, the kwami of Transmission. And you are Marinette, my chosen one to be the new wielder of the Butterfly Miraculous!"

"Butterfly... Miraculous?" The girl raised a brow.

"You mean this brooch?" Marc asked after he picked up the fallen hexagon box.

Inside the box, was a purple gemstone brooch with four wings like ribbon. The boy showed it to his sister, who picked it up warily. The moment the jewellery touched her fingers, it transformed to a black coloured gem and its wings were instead turned to a cherry bow. Both siblings flinched at the sudden change.

"Uh... what? Did I broke it?"

Nooroo shooks his head. "No, that's just its disguise form. Every time I receive a new holder, the brooch will change shape to fit in with my user."

"Oh... then I just wear this?"

"Yes!"

Marinette hummed. She glanced at her brother, who shrugged and told enough with just look that said 'The choice is all yours'. She huffed, looked back at the piece of jewellery and attached it to the collar of her shirt.

"Then what? I get superpower or something?" Can she makes money grows from tree? That would be wicked.

"You have to say a transformation spell first. But before that, please let me explain the basic power you'll have."

"Sure... I guess."

"I wonder if she can make comic characters come out of book," Marc murmured but loud enough to be hear by the others.

"Oh! She can."

"Wait. She can?"

"I can?"

Seeing the growing interest from the children, the kwami smiled as it explained in more detailed manner. "Yes! You see, the Butterfly holder is blessed with the ability to give different powers to their allies. We called as Champions. You can imbued energy into a butterfly and let it entered someone's item, and as long as the item didn't break or you didn't call off the power, that someone will be gifted with ability of your choice."

Marinette hummed, impressed. So did Marc, if the glitters in his eyes was anything to go by.

"That's really impressive, Nooroo."

The kwami blushed under the compliment of its new holder. While it did that, it failed to notice the exchanged knowing looks from the siblings. Marc grinned, and Marinette simply smiled with a nod.

They were soooo going to make money out of trees.

Just then, a sudden roar blasted through the air. Everyone flinched, and each eyes darted over to the ongoing scene in the computer.

Right. That rock monster.

Nooroo gasped. "A sentimonster!"

Marc frowned. "Senti... monster?"

It nodded rapidly. "Yes! It's a creature created by the Peacock Miraculous holder! The Peacock is able to create creature like that beast by embedding its amok to an item!"

Marinette tapped on the brooch on her collar. "So it's like the Butterfly. But instead of granting superpowers..."

"... it creates superpower creature," Marc trailed on and cursed under his breath. "You're saying something about an amok, right? So to beat that thing, Mar gotta destroy whatever has its amok?"

"Yes."

"Right. And I bet this must be the reason why I got you, huh Nooroo?"

"That's also correct, Mistress."

"Huh," the girl rubbed her chin with a thumb. Guess Alya was right on that one. But a lunatic was still a lunatic. "Welp, I need to go to school anyway to make money. Ready to beat up a rock monster, Marc?"

"Wha—why are you telling me? You're the one with the magical jewellery."

"I'm not gonna face a monster alone. If I'm gonna get step on, you're gonna step on too."

"What?! What kind of sister are you?"

"The one that loves you."

"...and she needs someone to be her Champion too," Nooroo awkwardly pipped in. "Oh! One more thing, once your Champion's item is broken or being call off, you only have five minutes until you detransform. You have to feed me something, then you can transform again."

"Dang it!"

"Hey, at least I'm not doing it alone. Ride or die together, am I right?"

"NO."

"Actually, you'll have partners – other than your Champion – along."

Both siblings snapped their heads at the kwami. "Wait, really?"

"Yes. If I recall correctly, the new holders of the Ladybug and the Tiger Miraculouses also had been chosen. They must have received their Miraculouses as we speak."

"Huh."

"Glad whoever gave us this aware how dangerous it'd be if it's just you, Mar," Marc shrugged. "After all, we're kids."

Somewhere outside, Fu sneezed.

Marinette also shared the same shrug. A sigh surpassed her mouth when the voice of Nadja panickedly reported that the rock monster had destroyed yet another building.

"I guess we gotta do what we gotta do. Ready, Marc?"

A sigh from the male. "Please make me have a cool power."

Nooroo smiled when the siblings turned to him. "The transformation spell is 'Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise'!"

Marinette bit the inside of her cheek. Was turning to a knitting fairy count as superpower?

"Okay, let's do this. Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!"

Purplish light engulfed the entire frame of the girl. Marc had to close his eyes to prevent himself from turning blind. Once the light subsided, he peeked behind his arm and gaped at the new change of his sister.

No more in her dress uniform, Marinette was in a knee length dress. She wore a sleeveless silver high collared dress shirt, tucked in behind a dark purple waistcoat with equally dark buttons. The lighter shade of purple skirt was frilly on the tip, with four parts of clothes pulling out from the waistcoat with butterfly's wing's patterns. Her legs were covered with the colour black faded to purple, with silver heeled boots. The same with her arms, only her hands had silver gloves. A dark purple sphere staff plopped in her hold, it had a purple butterfly symbol embedded to it. Her hair was no longer in braids, instead it styled to a fancy braid bun with purple butterfly ornament clipped on. A dark purple mask with hints of butterfly patterns covered half of her face.

"..."

"..."

"Huh."

"Huh."

"...so...?"

"You look...," Marc squinted his eyes as he searched for words "...unrecognisable."

"That's... Good, right? Since superhero business is a shady but in a good way business?"

Marc tried to refute on that superhero part, but found himself unable to do so. Well, it wasn't like she was wrong.

Another call of alarm coming from the computer, both siblings decided to be awkward about this new stuff later. Marinette looked around for Nooroo, and frowned when she was unable to find the lilac kwami.

Marc, who noticed her silent panic, spoke, "I saw them entered your brooch when you transformed."

Simultaneously, the girl held the mentioned jewellery. "They went into here?"

"Must be part of the transformation process," Marc murmured. "But enough about that, we got a rock buddy to meet up," he said, pointing over his shoulder with his thumb to the ongoing show in the computer.

Marinette narrowed her eyes. Urgh. Whoever gave her this Miraculous better be grateful that their parents raised them to be good people with common decency. Or else.

A white, lovely little butterfly flew and landed on the tip of her nose. Her blue eyes stared at the insect. For some reason, Marinette just knew this was the butterfly she required to use her power. Something about it... just felt different than ordinary butterfly. The same feeling went with Marc, as his emerald eyes cannot turn away from the ivory creature.

Marinette opened her hand, and as if it understood her, it flew and descended slowly on her palm. Marinette glanced at her brother. The feeling anxious brew in her gut.

Can I do this?

Marc placed a hand on her shoulder.

You can.

"Alright," she breathed out. "Okay."

"Okay okay?"

"Okay okay."

"Then come on," he nodded. "Your partners are waiting."

Right. The Ladybug and the Tiger.

...why can't she be the Tiger? At least she can maul on people.

"...how should I do this?" Dang, Nooroo didn't tell her the process for this part.

"Maybe you should think what kind of power you want to give me, then—," the boy shrugged. "Just go with the flow?"

"Really helpful, Marc."

"I'm not the one turning to a butterfly themed hero."

She bit her lips. Despite saying that, Marinette tried to listen to her brother's words. After all, didn't heroes in the comics and television started with that?

Taking a deep breath, the girl tried to feel any rush of power. The second she felt something grew, large yet untouchable, she poured all of it into the ivory being in her hold.

Dark purplish smokes circled the insect, and engulfed it. Soon enough, the smokes disappeared and a dark winged butterfly replaced the previous white one.

Marc gasped. He kneeled down to see the insect in closer view. "Is this what gives me superpower?"

Marinette also surprised. She held the butterfly closer, suddenly feeling precious over it. Maybe it was the power of the Butterfly Miraculous, but she felt a connection with it.

"You need an item, right?" Marc went over to grab something inside his bag. A black notebook was fished out and he handed it to his sister. "Think this will do?"

Marinette shrugged. "Nooroo didn't say any limit."

She gestured at the handed item, and the dark butterfly flew off towards it. They watched with curiosity and amazement as it seeped into the book, and the book fully turned black. The siblings stuttered at the sudden connection they felt — it was hard to explain, but it was like they felt each other's presences and existences in internal way.

"Give me a cool superpower, Mar," Marc spoke as dark clouds wrapped around him.

Marinette snorted. "I'm the anime girl here, brother. You're my sidekick."

The book also changed shape and size too. No longer any ordinary book, instead a floating hoverboard took its place. Marc's cloudy figure let it go and hopped on to it. When the smokes were gone, Marc did not look like his usual self, which was what Marinette aimed here.

If she had too be a girl living in a double lives without anyone (except her brother) knows about it, might as well dragged him along.

Donned in a blue and white jacket, with white pants and blue stripes, Marc took place on the hoverboard. He had scarf that had its two ends flipped on his back, and it shaped like bird's wings. A full face white mask with blue linings covered his whole countenance, along with blue gloves and boots.

Marc stared at his hands. "Winds power, huh?"

"Got any problem?"

"I just thought if one day I got superpower, it'd be writing related or something."

Good points. But, "You're gonna reject the idea of blasting your enemy?"

"... good point."

Another roar from the computer, and this time the two siblings decided they had wasted enough time already. Going out through the hatch in Marinette's room, Marc flew out with his hoverboard and extended a hand to his sister.

"We need alias," the boy stated.

Marinette nodded in agreement. She gave a quick glance at her attire, before accepted her brother's hand and carefully climbed up to his hoverboard.

"Call me Violette."

"With the double t?" Behind the mask, emerald eyes that turned sapphire narrowed. "It's because of that, isn't it?"

Marinette grinned. It was an enough answer for that. "What about yours?"

"Well, Arial Ace sounds good."

"Arial Ace and Violette. I guess this is it."

"Yup."

"We're totally doing it. Saving Paris, I mean."

"Uh huh."

"Heading straight to the rock guy."

"It's currently going to the Eiffel Tower, sis."

"Yeah yeah," a loud sigh. "Let's go."

"Got any plan, Ma— Violette?"

The siblings were heading towards the monster. It was just their luck that it was a bit faraway from their home.

Violette gripped on to her brother's shoulders tighter, yet she was careful not to let her nails buried into his skin. "For now, try to use your winds to save people. I'll try to find it's am—"

Something in a blurry of red and black crashed onto her. Arial Ace somehow managed to grab her arm before she could fall off. In addition of Violette's reflex, she also grabbed on to whatever crashed her.

Or, whoever.

"Urgh...," the red and black grumbled. "Don't swing too hard. Got it."

Violette shook her head to get rid of the dizziness. She let Arial Ace pulled her back up to the hoverboard. He glared at the red and black.

"Hey! What gives?!"

The red and black — who was apparently the holder of the Ladybug Miraculous, winched at the yell. He gave a sheepish, apologetic grin.

"Uh... sorry—ouch!" He shouted when Violette let him fell. Fortunately, Arial Ace had flew them towards the nearest roof so he was safe.

"I guess you're our partner," Violette grumbled as she fixed her hair. "The one with the Ladybug, right? I'm Violette, and this is Arial Ace."

The Ladybug holder — a guy with a red and black crop top sleeveless jacket, red belts, pants of red and black with mismatched coloured boots and multiple dots of the same colour red and black all over his body. He had inner tight shirt with sleeves that reached his elbows. One part was red, the other was black. His whole hands were covered by gloves, which were also in mismatch of red and black. Like Violette, half of his countenance was protected by a black and red mask. If he pulls off his hood, it would show his black jet hair and several lines of red. Two red cowlicks peaked out, it akin to a bug's antenna.

Or a ladybug's in this case.

The guy grinned, this time more excited than embarrassed. "I'm Polka! Nice to meet you!" He squinted his ruby eyes at the other male. "I'm aware I have a Butterfly and a Tiger for partners... but you don't look like a tiger..."

"He's power come through me," the girl explained. "My ability is I am able to give my allies powers. Arial Ace is my Champion."

The latter male perked up at the explanation. "Really? Dude, that's a sick power! You think you can give me a boost?"

She shrugged. "I don't know. I think I'm able to make Champion one at a time."

The red boy pouted. Arial Ace huffed, though there was a hint of amusement.

"Next time then?"

"Maybe. But enough," she turned towards the source of the current destruction. "Paris needs us— at haste!

"Right!"

"Alright, boss!"

Boss? Her ears perked up at that. Yeah. She liked that.

Apparently, Polka's weapon was a magical yoyo. It was slightly wider and thinner than a normal yoyo, but harder and its red string didn't seem to have a limit. It was fully black with exact five red dots on each sides. He used the yoyo to swing across one building to another.

"I wonder if you can do that," Marc stated as they watched Polka did a flip while on air.

"I think I can," she replied. "I got a feeling that once I activate and transform, my reflex and strength boosted. How about you?"

"Other than feeling windy, mostly I feel stronger."

"Huh."

"Huh."

The trio finally reached the enemy. Violette leapt down to a nearby roof as her Champion dived down just in time to save two civilians from getting crushed by the monster. Polka swooped in, kicking the beast on the head to make it let go anyone it was holding.

"Polka! You and I get the civilians away from here while Arial distracts the monster!" Violette shouted as she got down from the building. Like she suspected, her strength raised like her Ladybug partner.

As much as she loathed to put her brother on the direct crossfire, Arial Ace's ability was the most perfect for distraction. Furthermore, both Arial Ace and Marc had natural reflex to dodge hits.

"Gotcha, boss!" The bug hero responded. He got down from beast before it could throw a punch on him and grabbed a civilian with his yoyo. "Come on, sir. Let's go! Let's go!"

"Get away from here! Hurry!" Violette directed a couple to leave using an alley.

"V-Violette!" Arial Ace called out in alarm. "It's gotten bigger!"

The butterfly heroine stared with wide eyes. Shoot. No wonder the monster was bigger than she last saw it. She thought it was just her brain misunderstood its size. It must grew larger with every hit it received.

"Change plan! Arial, hold him back with your winds! Polka, help him!"

"On it!" The red dots hero gently dropped a man to the ground.

Red strings tied around the enraged beast numerous times until it thin string was audible to see far away. Strong gush of winds danced around the monster, creating a cyclone.

"We need to find its amok," Violette murmured. But what is it? And where?

"Urgh!!! It's too...," Polka gritted out as he tried to hold back. His heels already digged through the soil trying to not slip "...strong!!"

Just when the string was about to slip off of his fingers, another pair of hand caught it. Clawed hands gripped it tight, and pulled in a stronger strength.

Polka's eyes widened. "You're—"

A smirk. "Purple Tigress," golden eyes turned to a glare as she turned back to the roaring beast. "And you—," she gritted her sharp teeth, dark plum lips tugged to a grimaced as she pulled down their enemy "—GET DOWN!!!"

With strength of extraordinary, the monstrous creature was forced down to its chest. The other Miraculous holders and Arial Ace's jaws dropped at the sight.

"Uh—," Polka turned to Arial Ace. "Did she just do that?"

Purple Tigress, their other partner. She was a tall girl with a long wild high ponytail. She had fake round velvet ears that indicated she was a tiger, with a mask of multiple shade of purple. She had a velvet leather jacket that had pointy gold studs on the shoulders. She had velvet jeans like pants and tucked in a lighter shade of turtleneck shirt. There were gold and dark purple stripes all over her her shirt and pants, except for the jacket in addition had gold linings decorating it. Her gloves had claws attached to it, with each coloured in a deep purple. One of the hand had gold panjas bracelet, which Violette and Polka assumed was her Miraculous. She got a knee length dark boots with also gold linings. Wrapped around her waist, was three headed bolas that acted like a tail.

"Sup," she smiled at the other heroes.

"Oh my kwami," Polka gaped. "You're so COOL!!"

At that, the tiger heroine blushed and looked away. "Y–You think so?"

"Dude, don't act like you didn't just pull down a humongous man-like monster."

"O—oh."

Already snapped out of her shock, Violette shook her head and darted towards the sentimonster. It was groaning in pain. It must be weakened thanks to the combined forces of her Champion and Polka, added more with Purple Tigress'.

"Is that our partner too? I don't know we got a bird themed Miraculous— except for the Peacock," she heard Purple Tigress spoke from the background.

Polka answered. "No, he's actually a powered ally of our partner – Violette! Actually, that makes him our ally as well. You see, Violette's power is that she could give someone else superpower!"

"Really? That's cool. You think she can do that to me too?"

"That's what I said!"

"How about we pay attention to the bigger matter?" Violette pipped up, catching the attention of the others. "We need to find its amokized object."

Polka perked up. "Ah! You're right."

"Maybe it's in its hand," Arial Ace spoke up from above. He pointed at the one where its fist clenched shut. "I noticed it never let go whatever in its right fist."

He was correct. Violette eyed the right balled hand. She went over to it, trying to pull the fingers away. But the rock monster groaned, and it only clenched tighter. She growled in frustration.

Two sets of footsteps approached her. "Shut tight, huh?" Purple Tigress voiced out.

"Maybe your power can help us open it?"

The latter heroine shook her head. "Clout let me unleash a high destructive energy. I don't think it's a good idea to do that while it's faces the ground..."

"I don't think it's a problem as long as it doesn't hurt people," Polka responded. "You see, after I use Lucky Charm, there's this another move that—"

Before the hero could finish, the monster must had use that moment of distraction to pull off the binding on it. It growled in rage, pulled off the red strings and stood back to its legs. The heroes barely dodged from its warpath and they watched as it literally leapt three buildings away to get to the Eiffel Tower.

"Ah—"

"No—"

"Chase after them!" Violette cried out, hopping onto her brother's hoverboard.

The siblings went after the raging creature, followed closely by the other two heroes. Screams of terror echoed in the air as the rock monster managed to climb up to the Eiffel Tower, this time holding a captive with it.

Arial Ace went alarm. "Isn't that—"

"—Alya!" Violette hissed.

Just their luck, or for the bespectacled girl, to get captured by the enemy. See? This was why you shouldn't chase after a villain. You won't know what will happen and your insurance might won't cover it.

Polices and its armoured forces had gathered to stop the monster. Helicopters flew around the monster, trying to find a clue to stop it. The four heroes stopped right in front of the rows of police, each wielded a grim look.

Suddenly, the rock monster freeze. Its action confused the entire people of Paris. Then, it acted like it was about to puke, and Violette hoped she didn't see anything disgusting.

Luckily, it wasn't that.

Dark, bluish smokes poured out from the creature's mouth and formed a giant shaped of head. The Miraculous holders halted when they heard different voices inside their heads ('Nooroo?' 'Roarr? Is there something wrong?' 'Tikki? Wassup?')

The three Miraculous holders simultaneously let out loud gasps. They ignored Arial Ace's worried call, each too busy figuring out what they just witnessed.

What was that?

Did their kwamis just show them something?

Was that... the Peacock kwami?

But... it looked different than theirs.

The voice from the formed clouded head spoke, snatched attentions to him and him alone.

"The holders of the Ladybug, Tiger and Butterfly Miraculouses, listen to my words. I am Blue Royale.  Enough of you ruining this city of Paris—"

An irk mark formed on the heroes' foreheads. Excuse me?

"—and hand over your Miraculouses! Or else the entire city of Paris will be doomed by your selfishness!"

Now that just terrible.

"Excuse MOI??!" Polka glared at the cloud form head. "DID YOU SERIOUSLY JUST SAY THAT? AFTER YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CREATED THAT BEAST TO WRECK HAVOC?!! Honestly, I'm offended by the audacity of that man."

Purple Tigress angrily grumbled.

Violette pointed her finger at the man they assumed as the holder of the Peacock Miraculous. "Exactly! Don't you dare try to switch role and pretend to be a saint. And handing over our Miraculouses?" A bark of dry laugh escaped her throat.

Blue eyes darkened as she glared menacingly at the enemy. A thumb slid across her neck in motion as she spoke,

"You're the one handing over your Miraculous as a beg for your safety."

People flinched under the scrutinising glare. Even the other two heroes beside her. Clearly, her intent was merciless and it was clear.

It was also enough to earn a stricken reaction from their enemy. He grunted, clearly infuriated. "You—"

"Bla bla bla!" Polka mockingly sang, a thumb shoved into one ear as the other hand made a shooed gesture at the other male Miraculous holder. "Enough blabbing, old man! Gosh, and I thought my sister is naggy."

The yoyo he had earlier retrieved was thrown towards the famous skyscraper. With one tug,  he swung and landed perfectly on the railing a level above the stone monster's head, and began capturing the tiny feathers that acted like smokes of the head.

"What's he doing?"

Violette answered Purple Tigress after a beat of silence "...he's trying to purified the amok...!"

"He can do that?"

"Ladybug, apparently," she shot a smile at her heroine partner before climbed back up to her waiting Champion. "Let's help him out, shall we?"

Purple Tigress grinned. No second command was needed.

The three charged after the beast. While both Blue Royale and his sentimonster were distracted by Polka, the other three chose to do the other things.

"Tigress, you go and save Alya! Arial, send me to its other hand and then help Tigress afterwards!"

The tiger heroine nodded while the Champion huffed.

Easily climbing the iron stands of the Eiffel Tower, Purple Tigress managed to got herself on the left side of the rock monster's arm. She thought about using the power of Clout, but disregarded it when she realized it could injure the bespectacled girl.

Talking about Alya, the girl squealed happily at the close proximity view of the heroes of Paris. "Ahhh! If only my hands aren't stuck, I'm so gonna get scoop in this!" She claimed, unnoticed of the weird glance Purple Tigress shots her.

"Why... is she like this?"

"Just ignore her," replied Arial Ace in a deadpan tone.

Fortunately, probably due to its master being distracted or the purification process itself hurted it, Purple Tigress was able to get it unleashed Alya with one hard hit to its wrist.

Or maybe it was just Purple Tigress being too strong.

Arial Ace managed to caught the screaming Alya once the monster let her go.

Meanwhile, Violette tried to pry open its clenched hand by shoving her staff in between its fingers. With the additional power of the Butterfly and Marinette herself born with terrifying strength, partly also because the monster was distracted, the butterfly heroine was able to peeled it open by shoving hard her staff in a roughly manner. To be more precise, the giant hand got cracked open energy for the petite girl to snatch the amok object away.

She leapt away from the sentimonster, followed by Purple Tigress and her Champion. They landed next to a satisfied looking Polka, who by then had successfully captured all the feathers into his yoyo.

"We got its amokized object, right...?" Purple Tigress asked, side glanced to the other heroine.

"Yup," she flashed her a victorious grin.

Then her attention drifted to the people standing before the Eiffel Tower. These— these were the victims of Blue Royale, the holder of the Peacock Miraculous. They... they looked tiny. Small. Violette noted this would probably be what Marinette felt if she was among them.

So helpless under the attack of Blue Royale. Marinette would thought the same if she wasn't Violette.

And Violette was a hero. So did Polka, Purple Tigress, Arial Ace and those who she would choose as her Champions. As heroes, their job not only to rescue them, but also giving the light of hope to the others.

"Dear people of Paris!" She began. "Fear not for the threat of Blue Royal," the jerk. "On this day, Polka, Purple Tigress, my Champions and I will protect Paris from the harm of the sentimonsters! This is my oath to you— the duty of the heroes of Paris!

Man, who knows the applause from the public could be this embarrassing? Yet no take backs. Not until they beat up whoever this Blue Royale freak.

Violette handed over the amokized object to an excited looking Polka, then winked at the latter heroine. Understood what that wink meant, the tiger themed heroine climbed down towards the frozen sentimonster with easy steps, and a wide grin stretched across her countenance.

"CLOUT!!!" She roared.

Velvet light engulfed her right hand, and she punched it on the monster's gut. With a destructive and powerful force, the monster was thrown off of the tower and got its boulder body broke to pieces.

"..."

" ..."

"..."

"..."

The heroes, including Alya and the rest of Paris, gawk at showcase of brute power. Dang. Nobody would piss off Purple Tigress from now on.

"That's gotta hurt," Polka whispered to himself. His ruby eyes slid over to the crumpled up paper in his grip. Guess it was his time now.

Ripping the amokized object, a dark blue feather seeped out from it. He opened the shell of the his ladybug yoyo once more and let it ate the feather. He threw his yoyo in the air again, this time numerous tiny ladybugs manifested from the circle weapon. It grouped up and created a bouquet of lovely flowers, with the red and black spotted wrappings.

"That's your power?" Purple Tigress asked.

He nodded. "It supposed to create object that will help us in the battle. But I guess we don't need it. This must be a way of Tikki to congratulate us for our first victory."

"Aweee..."

"That's honestly so sweet."

"Now witnessed my second power ; Miraculous Polka Bug!

The bouquet was thrown into the air, in the same time for Polka to tapped his yoyo open. Blast of ladybugs and purified ivory feathers danced through the air, creating a breathtaking sight that flew all over Paris.

Every tiny of those red bugs fixed away all the damages caused by the stone monster. The hurt and injuries were gone, any condition was set back before it got broken.

A healing magic, Violette noted. Incredible

"Although, can't you change the name?" Arial Ace asked.

The bug hero gave an offended gasp. "Hey! I work hard on that name alright! Tikki didn't tell me what the healing magic's name is!"

Fair.

Notes:

I don't know if there's a good phrase version to Dark Wings Rise. But I think Dark Wings Rise wasn't something evil or bad. It might meant someone who works in the shadow, letting someone else took the spotlight as he or she work in the dark.

The Ladybug holder in this fic is my OC. At first, Adrien was my choice. Then I turned to Luka. But then I felt like putting my own OC — someone who's not close but related in some kind of way (???)

Marc's superpower was something inspired from my country's local hero in TV!

Until now i can't believe a designer like Marinette had her Ladybug's costume like in Canon. Beside, if these people are gonna be heroes, they must imagine themselves in something cool. Purple Tigress' redesign because of her taste in rock music. Marinette's fashion choice is a bit fancier than in canon and Polka is Polka.

I know Blue Royale could just create an amok and controlled it in his lair, but I think that's the power of the Peacock needed a lot of emotion and energy. So BR amokized a negative feeling person and used their energy and emotion to create a sentimonster. Than the sentimonster was set with a tight disciple to protect its amok and never stray from the job it was given by BR.

I just realized that Marc's championised name was also a move from Pokemon. But I was too lazy to change it back.
