Chapter Text
Tsukauchi Naomasa is a reasonable man.
He's prefer looking at things simply and logically.
No matter how complicated every villain case that had swept up in his office for the last couple of years, he can take it.
Dealing with his friend's deteriorating condition against a supervillain? He supports and aids him whenever he can.
He knows the world runs by common sense and simplistic scenarios, despite the complexity of it all.
He's a detective. He always looks for logic that made sense. Even if quirks doesn't.

... He might as well resort to alcoholism with Aizawa.
Tsukauchi Naomasa is in the interrogation room, where he interviewed several students from U.A. High School in which he tries to understand everything about their side of the story up to this point. This was far from his usual break and would rather bash himself on the table due to the migraines he'd developed from sleepless nights. Because honestly, what the fuck is this?
He had just dealt with the events in the Kamino Ward where not only did a U.A. Hero Course student named Bakugo Katsuki was kidnapped for his violent behavior since the sports festival but also witnessed his hero friend All Might finished his fight with All For One. Buildings and infrastructures in the area where decimated during the fight and there have been some casualties afterwards. It was evidently a nightmare to begin with, though this current case he's in right now was able to top that with ease. With All Might's retirement being abrupt all of the sudden while also being broadcasted live all over the world, people speculated how would the future of heroes and U.A.'s involvement with the invasion of the League of Villains would come to fruition. There have been a villain who quite literally outclassed All Might, could there have been more down the line? He wasn't sure.
Aizawa Shouta did became the school's representative of the kidnapping of it's students, alleviating the worries and anger of how Bakugo wouldn't join the League and that he's a promising hero in the future. He was stern and direct- trying to save their school's reputation and his student. Sadly though, the press wasn't buying it, and his behavior during the festival seemed to be the reason why. Regardless of the doubts towards the school, which went rapid fire in between discussions on multiple hero forums, Nedzu, the principal of U.A., initiated a school dormitory system which would provide students protection and security from further incidents. The parents of those children were torn by this- but it was always the fear and distrust that U.A. is slipping but still held on.
He wondered what else All For One has been cooking amongst the League, plans to overthrow the hero society? Deemed more likely than you'd think. Mass destruction? Definitely Murder? Absolutely. He just hoped that whatever comes their way would finally calm down and return to peace society once had again.
He doesn't know how long would that last.
But recently, another headache for Naomasa began to accumulate, one where he'd almost gone ballistic as to how ridiculous the situation had gotten. A few weeks after the Kamino Incident, there have been alarming activity of what seemed to be a villain attack in a massive scale. There were several buildings and residences in nearby cities that have been obliterated in a blink of an eye, some had speculated it was one of the villain's pawns that All Might fought. These incidents weren't the only ones that had happened before. They happened a year prior to the school's entrance exams.
There were sightings of ghostly figures and monsters running amok that would give everyone nightmares. Individuals' involvement of these incidents were in varied states of shock and won't ever try to go outside ever again. In other stories, they've seen multiple individuals who have fought against these and sometimes outright kill them. But they didn't seemed to be human based on their descriptions. The prominent one in the bunch being a man, seemingly tall with white flowing hair and red highlights, red lines along the eyes, with a high collared coat that it's collar is definitely not a large jaw with humungous teeth. He primarily considered him to be their leader, with some civilians calling him Turbo Gramps. Whatever that means.
There were considered as dangerous vigilantes and must be arrested at all costs. Whatever quirk they may have is quite horrifying to say the least.
The police, pro heroes, and even the HPSC doesn't know what's happening throughout these incidents as they gradually ramp up its intensity throughout every part of Japan until it violently presents itself into a amalgamation of horror, weirdness, and grotesque in Minato City in Tokyo. One that is far from the usual criminals and crime bosses, where it is more about the occult and extraterrestrial.
A fucking Alien Invasion.
If the Lords above have any mercy upon them, chances are very low and would also give the detective a massive middle finger because fighting against aliens is making him lose his sanity. Several of the new Top 10 pros had fought against such monstrosity which began to grew in numbers and size, with weaponry and powers that is out of this world and too far advanced for their likeliness. Innocent civilians scramble through the city just to escape this never ending battle and find the nearest evacuation zone.
It became a massive war between humanity and extraterrestrials, it had been an amusing thought since Naomasa watched some alien movies. Now, he started to regret that feeling- while currently shooting his gun at a nearby creature hoping to buy himself time to reach any safe zones left by the heroes.
Many of the heroes in the battlefield were wiped out, being critically injured to continue on while others passed out in exhaustion both physically and use of their quirks. The commission considered dragging hero students but that is such a stupid decision that he'd rather deal with this than that. Why the fuck would they even want to do that?! All hope was lost as the nation almost initiated a protocol. The country was about to signal the rest of the world as a worldwide threat that couldn't be contained, it wasn't even a villain containment as this point. It's an all out war for crying out loud.
Until... THEY came.
The vigilantes that had plagued through Musutafu strike again and join the fight, but this time on the heroes' side. In actuality, they're generally pissed off for whatever reason.
They effortlessly dodged through massive barrage of attacks that no other human would ever survive, not even the strongest villain known to man nor a heroine with a busted quirk. They fought through them all hard and managed to drove back every alien from where they came from.
They did get overwhelmed when several of their allies had taken the most damage from that one psychic, but were able to recover once their leader swiftly took out 50 monsters in such tremendous amount of speed. Naomasa couldn't figure out where he came from but his speed would have surpassed the likes of the Ingeniums and All Might if he were to be honest. Soon after, they fought through them again and again but with what little strength they had left, they were eventually tired with quirk exhaustion and finally revealed their identities by accident.
... wait. THEY'RE JUST TEENAGERS!? IN HIGH SCHOOL!? FROM U.A. ALL OF PLACES!?
They weren't able to process all of this as they were alerted by another fight being a few minutes after killing the psychic. They got up and saw... ARE THOSE KAIJUS?! ARE THEY FIGHTING RIGHT NOW! WHAT'S GOING ON?! At this point, nothing makes sense anymore.
The amount of emotions and thoughts running through the rest of the fighters as the situation got worse when the aliens were able to transport their ships just above the city. Ready to strike.
All hope was lost, everyone never expected to be ruled over by aliens and potentially experiment them for their quirks. Mass hysteria and screaming in the distance, seemingly becoming hazy as blood rushed through their ears. This is the end of the wor-
*POOF*
They're... gone?
Just like that?
...
Everyone started to wonder what the hell is happening as they look towards the vigilantes, who are engaged in a brief conversation with a tall, demented looking woman whose proportions and face are nightmarish. They don't know what they're saying, but Naomasa was able to hear them talk since he's the nearest. From what he'd heard made his jaw dropped.
She'd put them all in a mirror and destroyed them all. With that, she finally disappeared.
...what the actual fuck.
But what caught everyone's attention the most was that the entire city became relatively fine. As if the invasion didn't actually happened. Everyone could only gape at the sight and shrieked only one word.
"HUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHH??????!!!!!"
After reflecting today's events, he's finally ready to talk towards the "vigilantes" who are actually high school students about well- EVERYTHING. He brought Eraserhead in just to make sure they weren't trying anything. They've finally captured them after a year's worth of headaches, migraines, and high blood pressure in the police force, there have been bad blood within those times. Naomasa wondered if this is how Eraserhead feels when dealing with his students, or more accurately "problem children". The latter of which Eraser was completely done of the situation. Everything is illogical at this point- it's only a matter of time before things get worse.
Astronomically likely to happen regardless.
Before they began the interrogation, he'd inspected the suspects' files one by one- each detailing their identity in both civilian and student alike, as he came across their leader's profile. One that he found both himself and Eraser completely stuck on and temporarily shut down due to its contents.

Name: Izuku Midoriya
Age: 16
Birthplace: Musutafu, Japan
Quirk: Quirkless
...
quirkless.
QUIRKLESS???
Why is he quirkless when he'd shown signs of a quirk?
Once again, the migraines and sleep deprivation hours return with a vengeance.
Confused by that crucial information, they bluntly asked Midoriya about how he has a quirk in the first place. As far as history goes, there's no probability of a quirkless person like Izuku to gain quirks at a later age- unless he was given by All For One. Eraserhead briefly reflects about Izuku's time at U.A.- constant harassment from Bakugo, utter avoidance of All Might, shenanigans amongst Class C, blowing things up at the Support Labs, intermingling with a particular hero student in Kan's class... At first, he thought he was the traitor- but the more he thought about it the more he became confused as to why or even how Izuku got in touch with the League or even All For One.
It doesn't make sense. NOTHING made any sense.
Until the boy finally talks...
"Uhm... Would you guys believe that I might've had a forced quirk manifestation from a villain incident-"
Okay, looking normal so far...
"-or would you rather listen me ramble how I got these powers by a spirit granny stealing my testicles because of a spiritual grudge?"
Both of them looked at each other, finding any correlation as to what the hell did the boy just said. What's even worse was that Tsukauchi's quirk "Lie Detector" rang true to Izuku's word.
...
...
Yeah... They're going to resort to alcoholism after this.
