Summary
Pokémon, the fantastical beings that defy logic, are real. Sorry. Were real. They have long since disappeared from Earth, leaving humanity to its own devices. That was the way things were for thousands of years. Things changed, though, in the early 20th century, and the sins of ancient humans and Pokémon reared their ugly heads. The children of both humans and Pokémon were revealed, their monstrous forms taking hold of their bodies.
These hybrids, called "pokéumans," have been hidden from the world in secret bases that lie right under our noses, yet always just out of reach. They hide not because they wish to, but for fear of destruction. The catalyst that uncovered the existence of Pokémon wished to destroy them. In the shadowy figure's absence, more fanatical men take the reins of the fractured organization that seeks to stamp out the existence of pokéumans once and for all.
