Summary
The low hum of the airplane engines was the only sound that filled the dimly lit cabin. Henry Fox sat stiffly in his seat, arms folded across his chest, pale cheek pressed against the cool window as he stared out into the blackness. The sky outside was an endless sheet of dark velvet, the stars swallowed up by the sheer distance and altitude.
He sighed, running a hand through his messy blond hair. His heart thudded anxiously against his ribs — not from fear of flying, but from everything else. Everything waiting for him on the other side of the ocean.
