Chapter Text
Beta AU POV
Ok, let’s start at the beginning.
My name is Lucia Noceda, and I ran away from home because I got into another argument with Mami because I got into another fight with another asshole who thought it would be cool to ignore someone saying ‘no’ to them and force themselves on them.
I won obviously, and no one stood up for me, (sigh) that’s life, I guess, anyway, I ran into the woods and to an old abandoned house I like to go to clear my head and cool off, what I wasn’t expecting was a portal to another world full of magic and gore.
I’m currently living with an old witch criminal and her…pet? Son? I don’t know what their relationship is. I was walking to Hexside to meet up with some friends and someone who I might have some feelings for, and I think she has feelings for me, too, if she ever gets over her pyromaniac tendencies.
As I saw them and they saw me, some random portal that is filled with stars and nebulas started swirling, and I felt myself getting sucked in. I pulled out my bat from my bag and tried to smack a plant glyph, but it was too late, as the last thing I saw was my friends panicking, and they were too late to get to me.
Now…Now, I don’t know where I am. It looks like The Boiling Isles, but it didn’t feel like my Boiling Isles.
The air feels strange, like it was made of something else. Whenever I’m in trouble or need guidance, there’s always one place in any world that I could go to: The Owl House.
I made my way to The Owl House with hope that Eda was there and could explain what happened, but when I broke into the clearing where The Owl House is, I saw someone shorter than me also running to The Owl House.
“Hey!! What are you doing–?” I stopped and saw another me that was a couple years younger.
She looked at me in surprise before we both turn to the sound of the front door opening, and what we saw was the youngest version of us.
“...” We all stared at each other before screaming in confusion.
“Shut up!!!!” Yelled a certain old witch that I’m starting to see as a second mother.
“Eda!!” All three of us screamed in surprise.
“Luz, what in the Titan is going on!?!?!” Eda yelled as she surveyed the area, only to see three of me.
I turned to see… not my Eda, this one looks more together and less likely to turn into a monster at a sneeze notice.
“You’re not my Eda, are you?” I asked, losing hope that any of my friends or found family were here with me.
“Huh? Luz, why didn’t you tell me you had an older sister? Or sisters, I guess,” Eda asked.
“Because I don’t. I don’t know who they are or what they are here for,” The youngest version of me said.
“Uh, I have a guess, if anyone wants to hear?” Asked the slightly younger me, raising their hand.
We all looked at her, waiting for an explanation, “I-I-I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy, s-s-so I think what’s going on is that w-w-we’re having a multi-verse adventure,” said the younger me, stuttering a bit.
The youngest of us three stared at both of us, switching between me and the younger me, with stars in her eyes, and doing that excited little dance I used to do when I was that age.
“Ooohhhh, This is amazing!!! What’s your universe like? What are my friends like? OH, What am I like?” The youngest me asked excitedly.
“I’m sorry, but what?” Eda asked, looking like she was told the moon wasn’t real.
“It’s like how there is the demon realm and the human realm. They are from different versions of the two realms, both from when I am older, or maybe this is more of time travel?” The youngest me asked.
“If-if it was, then wouldn’t both of us remember this happening? This happened three times, t-technically, so there should be memories of this happening to us,” The younger me said.
‘I wonder where they get this stuff from? I remember Dad giving me a fantasy book before dying a week later, but I didn’t get a chance to read it since some assholes decided to steal it and trash it beyond reading,’ I thought as I clench my fist in anger.
“What the fuck is going on here!?!? I was on my way to Hexside to meet my friends when this fucking portal came out of nowhere and started sucking me in and shit me out here!!!” I yelled, getting seriously annoyed at doing nothing useful.
Everyone looked at me in surprise before looking at each other in worry, “Sorry, I’m sure your friends are doing ok, if they’re anything like mine, then they’re trying everything they can to find you,” The youngest me said.
I looked away when she said that before letting out a heavy breath, “Yeah, they would fight the entire Emperor's Coven with me if something happened to any of us,” I said wistfully as I remember the countless times me, Winona, and Atticus fought against jerks and Coven members.
I also remember some… awkward moments with Amelia whenever we fought with or at each other.
“Sorry for that, I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that,” I said.
“Ah, it’s fine, kid. How ‘bout all of you come in while I call my nerdy sister so she could nerd out with those two,” Eda said while signaling their Hooty to let us all in.
‘Maybe I can relax for now before the next disaster comes up,’ I thought as I entered last before looking behind me to make sure no one is out there spying on us.
