   Summary

   After the death of a legendary hero, the city of Rainbase is thrown into chaos. Amidst the turmoil an organization known as Baroque Works has stepped forward to bring peace to the city. The only problem? Baroque Works is a team of known supervillains bent on world domination.

   Nico Robin lives a double life. She’s Nico Robin, the manager of Rain Dinners and the personal assistant of Sir Crocodile, the richest man in Rainbase. She’s also the Demon Child, the brutal second in command of Baroque Works. One man ties it all together. Sir Crocodile, or the leader of Baroque Works, the Desert King.
   Even though Sir Crocodile's schemes are going exactly as planned, Nico Robin can't help but worry that everything they've worked so hard to accomplish will come crashing down. She knows that this lifestyle will cost her everything. Freedom, love, even her own life. But it's all worth it. Right?
