Summary
The ice rink was packed that December evening, filled with shimmering lights, rosy cheeks, and the sound of clumsy blades scraping against frozen ground. Christmas tunes floated through the air, mixing with the laughter of students and families alike. Snowflakes drifted lazily from the sky, dusting scarves and beanies in soft white powder.
Henry Fox stood frozen near the edge of the rink, clinging to the rail with white knuckled hands. His long lashes fluttered nervously as he eyed the endless stretch of ice before him. His cheeks were already pink from the cold, but more so from embarrassment as he nearly slipped again, his pale, shapely legs wobbling beneath the hem of his tiny pink cashmere dress.
“Bloody hell,” Henry muttered under his breath in a crisp British accent, reaching out desperately to balance himself.
“Careful, darling, we don’t want you breaking anything important,” Percy more fondly known as Pez called with a grin, gliding effortlessly by and spinning in a smooth circle. His accent was just as proper, his curls peeking out beneath a wool hat. “You look like a newborn deer, flailing about i worry you may fall and break your cute little nose.”
