I watched as he shuffled around in his seat anxiously while trying to subtly keep an eye on everyone in the room. I couldn’t imagine how uncomfortable it must be to be an omega surrounded by so many alphas and a few betas. Kai Reyes is the next leader for a very prominent pack as she is the only alpha in recent generations. Her grandfather, Tomas Reyes, has given her one condition to be met before he allows her to become the next pack leader. His stipulation for her is that she must find her omega mate before she can lead the pack. Her only problem? She hasn’t been able to find her mate anywhere within Mexico but has been feeling a slight tug on her soul from outside the country. One day she is invited to Wakanda along with her beta older brother, Charlie, to attend a meeting between packs. While in Wakanda she catches hints of a sweet scent and a sweet scent could mean only one thing, an omega. When she finally finds the omega that is the source of the sweet scent she’d been smelling for days she realized one other thing when looking at the male omega, this was her mate.
