   Because not even a space odyssey gone wrong can prevent two boys, perhaps destined never to meet, from recognizing each other at any time, in any place, in any life.
   Because even with all the chaos and trauma of their lives, Jon is still Damian, and Damian is still Jon.

    

   It involves long-lost diaries, the fictional old glory of Gotham, and Jon and Damian's not-so-well-addressed trauma.
