Summary
Long ago, humans and monsters waged unspeakable wars against each other, killing both sides until numbers began to dwindle.
In an effort to create peace, the humans conjured a deal placing the monsters’ ruler, the Demon King, in charge of protecting their world. In return, the humans would bestowing an offering to every ruler regardless of the request. Call it fulfilling a wish to every new king.
Years pass and now enters the modern era. The seven kings, children of the previous ruler, arise from a fifty year slumber to take their thrones while their father rests. Meanwhile, the humans scramble to gain favor and protection through their offering: human brides.
