The bookmen clan, a group of historical record keepers who merely observe and document historical events from the shadows. In a world constantly torn apart by war. The Bookmen are on neither side of good or evil all in order to maintain a neutral stance in the world. And in his lifetime Lavi has seen more bloodshed, more wars and hate this world had to offer than anyone else outside the Bookmen. Merely an observer, a witness and never to interfere or become emotionally attached to anyone for fear of being compromised.
His only goal is to only record history as it slowly unfolds in front of them. But what happens when the same people he tried to keep his distance from finally began to peel away at that façade he worked so hard to keep up.
Lavi walks a fine line between his duty, love and desire to be the person he longs to be. What happens if the one person he was worried to get close to finally manages to capture more than what he thought he’d find at the Black Order.
