You need the cash, and They need your tactics. The "They" in question? Well, just the best sellers of weaponry in the Desert, of course! Some of the best salesmen get to work with Them, and you've been recruited!

Your job now?

Get the Crapload of Cash, by any means necessary, even if it DOES mean you have to become a merc. But it'll be fine, though. Because dangerous missions sound fun!

...Right?

Chapter 1: A Mere, Simple Handshake

Chapter Text

"Hello, sir! Would you like to try this exclusive weaponry from the best gunsmith in this sector?"

The man you were trying to sell a Mag-45 to casually walked away, without a care in the world. You drop the guns on the ground; they didn't seem to be worth any value now. You stare at them with an empty look until you get a tap on the shoulder, but it felt more like a pinch.

"You say you're selling those, right? A couple of friends of mine would pay for those." You turn around to see the man, who was...peculiar. He wore what was a soldier's uniform, with shades of dark green and teal. He also wore black boots, but the most confusing part of him was his face. Part of his face was red, but the other side was white. His hands were different, too, with part of his legs & arms being red and curved, the other side was white and jagged with edges.

He took the pistols from the ground, examining them closely. "Speaking of which, a buddy of mine made these. He might use you as a testing dummy, but he'll pay you dearly. The materials were hard to find, but Io Con can use any material to make anything."

He sticks his hand out, as if to offer an agreement, a deal. You stare at his hand dubiously, as if there's a hidden knife somewhere. His hand was still out, waiting for your response.

"Ha ha! You, my friend, look like a fellow business entrepreneur. Let me shake your hand, and I'll see if I can get my buddies to strike a deal with you!" His hand is still out, waiting for your hand to reach his. You still stare at your hand, wondering if you should agree to his terms. After a few seconds, you take out your advertising paper and finally shake his hand.

"My name is Conner, and I'm a salesman who sells weaponry and armor. It will be a pleasure working with you and your group."

"My name is Worker, and I am a salesman who gets people to work their own hours. I am also a freelancer in all kinds of trades. It will be a pleasure working with you, too." His grip on your hand was firm, but you didn't mind, because today was the day you were gonna make a Crapload of Cash that will set you for life.
