Wednesday

Wednesday Friday Addams is the titular main protagonist of Tim Burton's original Netflix series Wednesday.

She is portrayed by Jenna Ortega, who also plays as her ancestor Goody Addams from the same TV Series, Tara Carpenter from Scream, Princess Isabel from Elena of Avalor and Phoebe Atwell From The Babysitter: The Killer Queen and Harley Diaz in Stuck in the Middle and younger version is portrayed by Karina Varadi.

Personality

Wednesday is fascinated with dark and macabre subjects. She is intelligent and interested in mysteries, being very skilled at solving them.

She is very vengeful and chaotic as she seeks revenge on Dalton and his friends for torturing her brother. After arriving at Nevermore Academy, Wednesday is quite an unsociable person, despite Enid Sinclair and Larissa Weems welcoming her. She is never afraid of speaking her mind and can be quite intimidating, blunt and rude to others. But she also has a compassionate side that she only shows to those she cares about.

Starting from the end of the first season, Wednesday starts to become a more friendly. She also shows a great sense of justice when protecting her school. As a result, Wednesday and her friends help each other save Nevermore from Laurel Gates, Joseph Crackstone and the Hyde.

Physical Appearance

Wednesday Addams is a young 16 year old teenager who is 5ft and 1in tall with bangs, long black pigtail braids. She normally wears a long-sleeved black dress that has small white dots all over it.

In the Nevermore Academy, she wears a school uniform that has black stripes with Nevermore Academy's badge on the left side of her chest. Behind her uniform is a long neck tie that's on top of a white shirt. The bottom part of her clothing is a black striped dress under a long pair of black tights.

Wednesday also shares a similar appearance to her ancestor Goody Addams.

Powers & Abilities

Powers

Psychic Vision: Whenever Wednesday touches someone, she has the power to see what happened to that person, potentially happen to them or what that person did.

Abilities

Genius Level Intellect/Master Strategist/Expert Detective/Master Social Unit: Wednesday is a gifted writer and is incredibly well-read, studying the works of Edgar Allen Poe, Machiavelli, and Sartre. She also has high knowledge of how to pick locks and constructing traps. She is gifted learner in things like martial arts, multilingualism, playing instruments, and archery. It is stated that she built a steam-powered guillotine when she was only ten and was able to fix a coffee machine easily. Wednesday has also proven herself a skilled detective when necessary, and was capable of masterfully manipulating others over the course of her investigation.

Escape Artistry: Wednesday can manipulate her hands to escape being tied by rope without any issue, which was confirmed by herself to be tight enough to cut off blood circulation.

Expert Martial Artist: Taught by her uncle Fester, Wednesday is a very capable fighter in hand-to-hand combat.

Expert Archer: Just like her fencing skills, she doesn't do much of archery, but she is a fast learner as she shoots the bullseye when Ajax gave her permission to use his bow and arrow for the first time.

Expert Swordswoman: Although she doesn't fence much during the series, she's shown to be quickly and highly advanced in fencing as when she beats up Bianca Barclay, the school's fierce fencer during her very first match. During the final battle between her and Joseph Crackstone, she fought him with a big silver sword and showed great sword fighting skills as she and Bianca ended up stabbing him.
