   Cesare awakened on the floor of the Zomburger Truck, where he spends the nights that Upper Management doesn't require him to be in the underworld. His shoulders and lower back ache in a way that he wasn't aware they could, a quiet ache that reminded him of nights spent hunched over a worktable whittling away.
   Pushing that thought aside, he sat up with a groan. Several things popped, including his spine and elbows.
