Obscure questions, Films, Sunny spots and Graduations (Arc 1 of the Path of Thorns AU)

Summary:

Whether you watch them wither or whither on their path of thorns, one must know what it is they seek to see in order to know what they will find. Whether they live or die isn't up to them, however, who knows what parts of themselves will prevail. These souls are bound to the past, that is something they cannot change, whatever they do, they won't be able to assume their full selves easily.

After getting bored one day, a now older c00lkid remembers he had made a time capsule when he was younger, from before he got Forsaken, and decides to look for it. However, when he opens it, some things that should have stayed buried in the past come out to torture him once again and drag him back to a hell he now remembers all too well. Forcing him to relive every moment of it, every single second of that torture. Will he prevail, or will he break under the pressure. Is this the same evil force as last time, or is it something darker that wants to toy with c00lkid and break him further than he already is.

So, yeah... If you couldn't guess from the tags this version is going to go into way darker themes and topics. I decided to do this change since I found it easier to write horror after rewriting Abandoned by Disney for the same class that I wrote the first chapter of the original version of this fic.

This first chapter is just gonna be me going over some content warnings and light spoilers, so you can decide if it's acceptable for you, or if something you thought you could handle goes too far, in your opinion, in this fic..

We all here? Good, so... You guys didn't hear from me for a "long" time, that's because I had writer's block and because I wanted to rewrite this entirely.

Getting to the juicy bits, here are some content warnings for this fic in general. If other ones show up at the start of a chapter it's because it isn't listed here
Content Warnings:
1.- Obviously, a lot of horror and violence. This fic will go into topics of guilt, depression, anxiety and will get very violent at times. I may describe some scenes in like, A LOT, of detail and while it's mostly a stylistic thing, I also just enjoy writing very detailed descriptions of things I imagine so, yeah...
2.- Body horror, some of these people will get turned into meat pretzels WAY more than once, so get ready for that cause it's gonna be combined with my form of writing detailed descriptions
3.- Guilt, most of this fic is based on c00lkid's guilt that marinated as he got older, (FYI c00lkid is 15 in this fic, bluudud is also 15 and pr3typriincess is 16)
4.- Gore, I won't sugarcoat it so I'll just list things off that will happen in one way or another: Stabbing someone in the eye with a pen and the ink and blood mixing and running down the character's face at the same time, graphic depiction of slashing someone with an axe exactly 17 times and then turning them into mush with a chainsaw, flowers blooming inside someone (not hanahaki) and the flowers blooming in their eye sockets and most family friendly orifices on the body and the thorns and stems suffocating the person to death slowly. In general: people stabbing each other, limbs getting torn off the body, bones breaking, and in general more gore. The first ideas were just some of the most "shocking" moments according to me.

And now, the most scary one of all:
5.- My music taste: Mostly K-Pop, Vocaloid, and Forsaken USTs. I do want to make a playlist for this one but I want it to be in general for the fic and it's gonna be long, if you put it in shuffle you're very likely gonna get musical whiplash strong enough to kill someone. Most of it is gonna be LOONA, MARETU, KairikiBear, PinocchioP, aespa, Red Velvet, the Project Diva: Deep Blue OST, the Forsaken UST by ImperfectNORE (Specifically PARADOX, I will die for that song), and enough K-Pop Girl Group music to kill a small town.
