   Summary

   Bethany grew up in Wisconsin with her three older brothers and a loving Dad. She started college at Georgetown University and stayed with her grandfather. Her life was ideal, except for the gap in her memory during the summer going into her sophomore year of high school. After befriending a man at the VA's office in DC, she gets involved in something she didn't think was possible.

   James Buchanan Barnes was molded into a killing machine for HYDRA with dozens of confirmed kills and hundreds of unconfirmed ones. A man with so much blood on his hands was the last man who deserved kindness. Even if it was all out of his control, it was still his hands- flesh and metal.
