Summary
Jimin, a cat-human hybrid, dances for scraps in the slums of Yongsan, where synthetic food and barter are currency. The Plate, a saucer-like barrier that divides the city, keeps the elite far above the filth, and Jimin far below.
When Yoongi, a dangerous and magnetic man from above, takes a liking to Jimin, he gives him a taste of luxury. A glimpse of a life Jimin has never seen.
Jimin knows Yoongi is poison. He also knows he wants more, and he’s the only person who’s ever made him feel seen.
Yoongi is a moral foil. Jimin is desperate.
