The Loki Plot Archive: Adopt an Idea

Chapter 2: Ideas

Notes:

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.
I am posting this chapter with the prompts we have so far to ensure the story contains sufficient original text and to avoid having empty chapters or relying solely on comments, which could lead to moderation issues.
The wonderful Zaniida kindly alerted me to this in the comments, and I am very grateful for the heads-up.
If possible, please feel free to share this work with other Loki fans, so more people can contribute their ideas and have them adopted by fellow writers.
Thank you all so much for your support and kindness. I truly love you all.
P.S.: I apologize for any writing mistakes. English is not my native language. I am Brazilian and live in Rio de Janeiro.
Hugs 💚

Chapter Text

Fanfic Idea by Lokination97:
After the Battle of New York, Loki is captured and sentenced to serve his punishment on Earth, under the custody of the Avengers and the watchful eye of S.H.I.E.L.D. The decision is meant to be both a deterrent and a lesson — to keep the God of Mischief under the control of those he once tried to destroy.
But no one believes him when he claims he was under Thanos’ control. His words are dismissed as lies, manipulation, another trick from someone incapable of remorse. Stripped of his magic and freedom, Loki becomes the perfect target for resentment.
What starts as coldness and isolation slowly turns into something much darker. The mockery, the subtle violence, the whispered taunts — it all escalates into open humiliation and cruelty. The so-called heroes find ways to hurt him without crossing official lines: food tampered with, medicine replaced, bruises hidden beneath the armor of silence.
Once feared and hated, Loki becomes nothing more than a prisoner — broken, voiceless, and increasingly desperate to escape. And when he finally begs to be returned to Asgard, preferring execution over another day on Earth, the heroes begin to understand what they’ve done. But by then, regret might come too late.

Fanfic Idea by ratPasyuk:
Clint and Natasha coming to terms with Loki's existence and clockwise. A bit of avengers being domestic! A whole team. Maybe somehow Peter bc I love his and Loki's mischievous dynamic (tho Clint and Loki would've been as mischievous. Imagine all THREE of them??)
I'd enjoy that idea paired up with Loki-centric angst and any other angst, I absolutely love angst! Maybe the part with the three of them coming to terms with living near eachother and then maybe becoming friends? Closer? If it fits in your mind I don't mind! As a multishipper and a fan of purely platonic relationships I really don't care about ships or their absence. Y'all can do a trouple and I won't care (I'd be secretly genuinely glad). Tho I do like the idea of Barton's family being included! I love how sweet they are!!!! But for the love of god no Thoki I will die.
I forgot to continue it, so- Maybe the whole interaction between them will not be just as in centre, but still at least here. I'd love it that way too! Maybe it'll come in full after the angst and action part, in more domestic life. However you want it to be :D
It doesn't really have to be in the centre but god dang it I love their dynamic, like? All three have shit to bond over with and even if they don't bond I just enjoy seeing things like "I won't forgive you, but I understand you." or or! "I can forgive you but I can't deal properly with the problem you have caused, even if they weren't truly of your will"
I desperately need more interaction between these three I'm begging. I like Tony and Loki but I want to see how others react to Loki, to his story, how they progress through it with Loki (as the trauma Loki had to go through is absolutely horrendous).

Fanfic Idea by RainbreezeTherian:
Prompt: When Loki is to be trialed, indecision between the jurors (because seriously, this Loki doesn't seem to be the one they know, even if some swear it is) leads to Odin having a respected magic user use magic to cast a spell at the trial that lets those assembled (the Avengers, Thor, some of Asgard, etc) feel (maybe even hear the loudest thoughts?) how Loki did throughout the battle of New York and up until the trial (after, maybe someone even requests to see before, when Loki fell). They can feel the sadness of thinking he's unloved (but how much he still loves anyway is a bigger focus), agony when pummeled by the Hulk, anger and hate at himself and who's controlling him (revealed to be Thanos), the frankly horrific amount of injuries, the torture, starvation, and utter lack of sleep (rest makes a resistant mind) he went through as well as the process of his mind getting stolen/returned after the Hulk- all in segments of the events, obviously, not everything at once. They can feel him struggling for control under the control. Having expected only to find hatred and arrogance, Odin claims Loki must be tricking them, but ultimately the audience realize Odin only wanted his 'useless' son out of the way (can be expanded upon). Horrified at what they've seen, the Avengers take off Loki's muzzle and chains and he's declared innocent.
Pairings: The brother bond between Thor and Loki, and maybe Canon ones in the background.
Basically: Avengers attend Loki's trial, realize he was the victim too, Loki still loves who he thinks hate him, Odin is an ass and gets humbled before Loki is declared innocent and maybe gets invited to stay at the Tower.

Fanfic Idea by QiaqiaHelianthus:
Prompt: Retiring from the TVA, Mobius decides to live out the rest of his days on the timeline. Loki watches helplessly on his lonely throne at the end of time as Mobius slowly begins to age and finally passes away. An uncountable amount of time later, Loki, freed from his lonely vigil, or having finally mastered the art of existing both at the end of time and on the timeline simultaneously, seeks out a Don variant and decides to become his neighbour, silently and somewhat awkwardly watching and mourning the friend that he loved.
What happens next and whether you wish to ship them is up to you.
Bonus points for his remaining TVA friends and Sylvie discovering him hiding out on the timeline and trying to help him get through his grief and move on.
Extra bonus points for Loki dwelling on whether he wants to get closer to Don out of fear of having to come with terms with the fact that Don and Mobius are not the same person and may never be.

Fanfic Idea by Zaniida:

1) Let's see, what's a small idea I've been sitting on that hasn't made it through to a draft yet?
Vampire Loki, but I do have a general idea of what I want from that one, so couple that with my general enjoyment of vampires and it'll likely get made eventually. Still, would love to see more variants!
Oh, how about Loki showing up to grab Clint's kids? I've had this idea, barely developed, about Clint waking up to find that Loki is there, offering him a warning about the future (basically the Snap). While under Loki's control, Clint had asked only that Loki protect his children, and so Loki is making good on that now, by collecting them all (and Morgan) and taking them to another dimension or a pocket dimension so that they won't be affected by whatever Thanos is up to (which Loki somehow has more information about).
Clint is horrified, but he can't stop Loki and he has just one last short conversation in which to help his children best adjust to this event before they're whisked away. And Loki gives another "mercy" by temporarily suppressing Laura's memory of the children, so that she's not distraught about losing them and can focus all her energy on whatever needs to happen in the fight against Thanos (doesn't distract Clint, either).
So Clint is left as the only one who remembers that he had children, and he heads off to fight Thanos alongside the rest. Dunno how much, if any, that changes the Snap, and I don't think Laura gets Snapped this way (though it's possible that one or two people who weren't Snapped in canon would get Snapped to compensate). But eventually, when the dust settles, Loki shows up again -- perhaps the children are a bit older than they typically would be -- and drops off the kids and wakens Laura's memory of her children, and tells Clint that his debt has been paid.

2) Oooh, I've got another one!
In the original film, when Thor was on Earth, he easily slotted right into rom-com hijinks and getting to know the mortals and just generally like he didn't just have a traumatic experience or get forcibly separated from everything he knew.
And if you pay attention, Thor never mentions his family. He discusses Asgard, and their magic/technology, but not in a way that brings up any actual people.
But what if Thor actually was affected by this loss (even if he hopes it's temporary), and acted like a normal person and, y'know, told stories about his loved ones? What if, in that little discussion with Jane during the night, Thor discussed his feelings about his father, his mother... his brother?
About himself, within that context? About what he hopes for the future, their reuniting? How he's changed, or intends to change? His worries about what's going on with Loki or his friends?
ANY of that??
And then suppose that Loki is on Hlidskjalf, looking down on Midgard, and catches some or all of Thor's discussion? How might that affect how Loki feels as he's trying to hold down the throne and prevent/stop a war? How does it change his tactics? Surely it would stop him from lying to Thor about their father. What all would change about the rest of the movie, if Thor actually had a moment of humanity instead of just turning into The God of Exposition?

Fanfic Idea by Kitsune695 :
Fanfic Idea, this is more like a dream I actually had.
Everything in Loki Series still happened. Loki became the God of Stories EXCEPT he can leave whenever he wants (Loki still has to sit on the throne but he finds a way to split himself into different copies) and he goes back to his timeline to fix the movies, mess with the Avengers and to get them to be aware of the other timelines and Kang variants. Loki is the God of Stories now but he's still a manipulative little shit and he's a bit Dark.
Loki keeps his powers and who he is a secret, acting the way he used to in the movie just to mess with them, and he's all "I know something you don't know," throughout the story until eventually later on in the story, Thor realizes something is different (Cause I refuse to have Thor a total idiot, he has some smarts). Loki eventually joins the Avengers but the Avengers are distrustful but weirded out of Loki being out of character of course with his God of Stories outfit minus the helmet.( love the outfit but the helmet? not a big fan )
To start off
He goes back to the part before he picked up the tesseract and disappeared, everything with the future Avengers trying to get the tesseract still happened but he doesn't pick it up.So the Future Avengers were successful in getting the tesseract (so Steve doesn't go back and stay in the past just cause he saw Peggy from the window and leaves Bucky and Sam). The future Tony saw the tesseract slide next to Loki and saw he didn't take it and escape.
With everyone distracted with Tony on the floor he teleports away to Endgame and helps defeat Thanos but he doesn't stay. He visits canon Thor though cause I feel bad for him
