Summary
Chase had always been good at hiding. Even if it meant his life was in danger because of people around him. Or more specifically, himself.
House knew this and imagined a million possible things he could witness as he opened the door.
But none of those things could've prepared him for this.

Or, Chase spirals into depression and develops PTSD as he's trapped with memories of his past. The guilt. The fear. The screams. All that, still interfering with his life now. He doesn't expect someone to notice, but House notices everything. But this time he's almost too late.

as a VERY source attached Dr Chase introject, this is very source accurate, like- scarily accurate- (at least in my opinion im sure other Chase introjects think differently), well written.
