    Elizabeth Bennet and her dæmon Kerlerel return to Longbourn after Mr Darcy's failed proposal, questioning everything she knew after absorbing the contents of his letter. With Lydia gone to Brighton, she and Jane decide to go to London with their Aunt and Uncle, instead of going to the Peak District as they had originally intended - but who should they meet there but Mr Darcy and the original party from Netherfield?
    Navigating the unfamiliar scene, Elizabeth must allow the hesitant Mr Bingley and her shy sister to reacquaint themselves, whilst warding off the calculated poison of his sisters.
