Summary
Zephyrin Odette, a socially awkward inventor who prefers a quiet life in the forest, spends her days relaxing with the occasional run in with Mereoleona Vermillion and avoiding any involvement with the Magic Knights.<
Despite her unusual "pocket" Magic and her discreet work for Julius Novachrono, she remains determined to stay out of trouble. While swimming in the river one afternoon, a sealed letter drifts toward her. Annoyed but curious, Zephyrin opens it to find a request for her help investigating the mysterious Eye of the Midnight Sun and an invitation to meet him in the capital.
This summon will eventually entangle her with Captain Nozel Silva, a man she finds arrogant, polished, and insufferable. And Nozel? He finds her rude and entirely too mouth for her own good.
