Summary
Will’s one of the last people out of the showers after practice when he gets the call.
“Will!” Gabe’s voice sounds gravely, “Will I’ve been trying to call you, Jesus, where were you?”
“Hey, hey, sorry I was at practice,” Will placates, heart already hammering. “What’s wrong?” He can feel the knot of worry twist in his stomach when Gabe inhales sharply on the other end of the line.
“It’s–” Gabe’s cut off by a sound on the other end of the line, something crossed between a whimper and a groan.
Will and Leno have been toeing the line between just friends and something more since juniors, will this be the wake up call Will needs to finally get his feelings in order?
