It was Yibo who insisted that Xiao Zhan join the editing team of Exploring the Unknown Season 2 as a consultant, Zhan’s name was kept secret from media . This was Yibo’s award-winning, highly anticipated documentary, and he trusted no one more than Xiao Zhan to be his eyes and his mind to make sure nothing made it into the final cut that shouldn't be exploited by tabloid and fans.
So Xiao Zhan had seen everything: Yibo tackling the impossibly steep climb up Castleton Tower, chopping wood with locals, laughing sleepily in the RV… and, of course, destroying a pancake in front of the helpless James Ryder Stroud.
The editors had paused the footage there, waiting for his reaction.
Zhan had pinched the bridge of his nose.......
