Summary
In this paper I will analyze these common elements of the omegaverse using multiple different A/B/O fanfictions and propose possible hormonal mechanisms behind these behaviors based on existing literature from animals who exhibit analogous behaviors. I will also discuss what elements of mammalian behavior omegaverse fanfictions often misrepresent and the implications of these misrepresentation specifically with the imposing of human gender roles onto non-human behavior as well as discussing how the behaviors omegaverse authors have chosen to implement in the omegaverse shape the literary impact of these works.
