Return Of The Troublemakers

Chapter Text

"Is this our fate, old chap...? To float in the endless vacuum of space inside of a dodechahedron?"

Little trouble exhaled, eyes transfixed on the stars and planets passing them by "we did some truly troubling things....why did we..?"

"Fun.." big trouble responded "we did it for fun..."

"Did we truly deserve this...?" Little trouble frowned "atleast...we get to be at rest as the troublemakers.."

"Yeah.."

The silence wasn't tranquil - it was eerie. A week without food or water does that to someone. A bright light caused big trouble to squint "is that an angel here to get us..?"

Little trouble followed his eyes "no...that's..."

"umi-space-ship!"

"TEAM UMIZOOMI?!"

The proper figure of umi-space-ship came into view. Milli leaned against the control panel, eyes unreadable "long time no see, huh?"

"What're you here for?! Rubbing in our defeat?" Big trouble spat bitterly. Bot shook his head "surprisingly, no. We're here to save you."

There was a very long pause between the five, as if the troublemakers couldn't process what they were just hearing. Little trouble blinked rapidly "eh...come again?" He exchanged a look with big trouble before they both broke into hysterical laughter. "You're kidding! As if we want help from you!" Big trouble sneered.

"Troublemakers.." Bot pinched the bridge of his non-existent nose "You're legally classified as deceased." He stated, intentionally using larger words milli and geo wouldn't understand "and you sure as my circuits look it."

"We look awesome." Big trouble crossed his arms - though Bot was, as per usual, correct. They were thin, pale, covered in bruises from being bumped around, and so dehydrated bot could practically see the sheer dryness of their tongues. Little trouble shook his head "regardless! The day we accept help from you umitwerps is the day ill shave my mowhawk!"

"Very well. Geo?"

Geo exited the safety of Umi-space-ship at Bots command and pulled out his splitter. Both troublemakers immediately huddled against eachother, staring up at the shadow casted by the multi-colour geometric blade, half of geos face glowing like a strobe disco. Big trouble quickly backtracked "woah! Woah! E..Easy kid! What happened to helping us?!"

"Y...yes! Yes! You wouldn't dare use that thing!" Little trouble nodded frantically. Geo didn't listen. He raised the blade above his head. Little squealed "tell my mummy I love her!"

"DODECHAHEDRON!"

With a powerful slash, the troublemakers were shocked to find the forcefield split and then dissipate. Millis ponytails shot out and pulled the two into umi-space-ship like lassos. Geo returned to his seat, tucking his shapesplitter away "that scare was for splitting the moon."

"...we...deserved that." Little trouble said shakily, just thankful to be...alive. bot shot them a weird uncharacteristic look "alright, Umi-space-ship! Back to earth!"

"vrrrm brrm!"

----------

After careful consideration on the ride home, the team allowed the troublemakers to stay in their lounge. They don't use it often, anyways. They confiscated the troublerays and ensured no gadgets that could cause trouble were in the duos grasp.

Bot was his usual cheery, sweet self when getting the twins ready for bed. Reading Milli a bedtime story, playing Geo a lullaby, and pressing his mouth bar to their foreheads like a robots version of a fatherly kiss before returning to the troublemakers.

In his mittens was a tray with pitcher of ice water, two glasses and a delicious looking assortment of nutritious food. He set the tray on the floor, which the troublemakers gawked at. The robot smiled "go on, then! You must be starved and thirst-"

Bot was interrupted by the ravenous noises of the duo digging in without waiting for him to finish. He chuckled awkwardly, rubbing his cheek "well...okay. and troublemakers?"

Big trouble looked up, mouthful of food crammed down his throat "hm?"

"You two even lay a finger on Milli or Geo? You're being flung back into space." Bots eyes narrowed dangerously for a moment, before switching back to normal "nighty night now!" With that he waddled away, leaving the shell-shocked and mildly intimidated troublemakers with their sleeping bags, food and water.

noted. Don't get on the robots bad side..
