Shane nods. He can still feel it, though—the slight burn, the pleasant ache. A secret badge he's wearing under professional-grade concealer and a Montreal Voyageurs polo.
His phone buzzes. He waits until he's alone in the hallway to check it.
Lily: You are still coming back after yes?
Shane's mouth twitches. He types back quickly.
Jane: Maybe. Depends on how long this takes.
Lily: Do not make me wait Hollander
Lily: I am not finished with you
Shane's sitting through a press conference with foundation on his neck, the thin coating being the only thing that is stopping the whole world (or, well, whoever is watching) not see Ilya Rozanov's "proud work". Unfortunately for Shane, he can't keep his mind off of his boyfriend the entire time.
