Bruce Wayne is supposed to be dead.
For five years, Gotham learned to breathe without him. Dick stepped down. Damian rose. Tim built something like a life in the wreckage. It was messy, hard-won — and finally, finally stable.
Now Bruce is back.
But the man who returns isn’t the one they buried.
He’s sharper. Colder. Watching Gotham like it belongs to him — and watching Tim like he might, too. Every look lingers too long. Every word feels like a test Tim doesn’t remember agreeing to take.
