Summary

After succumbing to a sudden and unexpected heat in the Cloud Recesses library while supervising Wei Wuxian's punishment during the Gusu lectures, the two are caught out by Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen, and Lan Wangji learns a dreadful truth about his value as an Omega to his sect. His only hope of escaping his fate hangs on the possibility that he is with child by Wei Wuxian and that Wei Wuxian will not allow anyone or anything else to claim what now belongs to him.
