Summary
Tim continues on his way, past Bruce before B lightly grabs his arm.
Tilting their heads in sync making some others at the table shiver, "Red Robin. Is something wrong?"
Which at least calms down Superman and the other league members who looked like they were being attacked at their homebase by a hero they didn't recognize.
Barry just looks on curiously.
Nobody noticed his own head tilting in sync after all.
"No, it's fine, B. I just know Flash is busy this week and I needed to ask him something, but he missed Sunday dinner. I figured he'd race off right after the meeting and your closing summaries are boring anyway," he shrugs as Oliver and Hal flinch back a little at someone dissing Batman so casually to his face.
Bruce's lips twitch amused and Flash doesn't bother holding back a grin.
"And you couldn't wait until next Sunday dinner? Or even better- ask anyone else in the family?" Some people look over at him with squinty eyes and the implications they are getting about the Flash's supposed connection to the Batclan.
Barry's inner Dick Grayson is cackling.

But! After extensive research and much 'urging' from Alfred about how it's 'unhealthy' not to have any 'friends'. Bruce has allowed himself to open up a little bit. Just a little.
"Yeah and then Harvey became Two Face and betrayed me, which is kind of ironic because then Harleen- my friend from college -got brainwashed and manipulated into being The Joker's right hand woman, and then Jonathan- another college friend, we were in a club actually -became Scarecrow and that's around the time I decided I was glad that I dropped out and decided that college wasn't for me." Bruce shared earnestly.
He really thinks he's winning at this friendship thing, Bruce thinks smugly to himself. He's going to get an A+ in friendship: a totally normal thing to want and a possible thing to achieve.
Barry looks at him with a face he can't quite decipher before opening his mouth slowly, and then is immediately interrupted by Kid Flash speeding up to them with Robin on his back.
The Flash slumps in relief for some reason.

Summary
Looking forward, Wally pauses. He's standing, somewhere in a battleground. He has no idea how he got here.
Taking a breath, just like Dick and Bruce and Barry tell him to, he looks around to gather information.
He squints his eyes suspiciously at a group of costumed people fighting an alien looking person (creature? Is that alienphobic?) and confiscating a weird looking gun. He recognizes Superman and Wonder Woman from the Batcomputer and the News, though quite a few others look unfamiliar to him.
Seeing a flash of red, he quickly reprimands himself for not self-checking before realizing that he isn't hurt. He's just wearing Flash Red instead of Kid Flash Yellow.
Taking a stuttering breath, he closes his eyes and prays that his uncle is simply on a break for some reason before putting that entire part of this situation in a box in the back of his mind to not be opened for the time being.
He feels a tap on his leg and flinches as he looks down to see… Batman.
A very small Batman in front of him.
Setting a hand out, he asks softly, "B? Is that you?"

“Usually you have a plan by now- are you okay?”
Everyone falls into silence to witness the reaction.
Bruce blinks again, “I’ll be honest, F,” a few look shocked at the familiarity, “According to Queen’s wrinkles we’re currently in the future,” an offended ‘hey’ barely phases him, “And I think it’s more of a time switch thing then a deaging thing, mostly because I am just… super high right now. Like super high. And usually deaging would like uh, burn that up? Or something I forgot the word… words. Whatever. Anyways, I’m going to sit down,” he pushes his cape back to carefully sit on the ground crisscross like a child before looking up at Barry again who's looking at him unimpressed with his hand on his hip.
Giving him a smile and a thumbs up, “I believe in you, F!”
Everyone but Barry stares at him for some reason in disbelief or something- not that he cares. Barry is in charge and he’s sick and that means he doesn’t have to worry about it cause Barry will protect him.
Barry just looks at the ceiling and mumbles to himself something that makes Superman take a step back and Bruce snicker to himself.

Summary
Barry watches a group of ‘superheros’ in a circle surrounding his kid.
As he watches in a frozen moment as Superman’s- invulnerable, strong, deadly -hand is wrapped around his kid’s arm as he looks confused and scared where he is, he gets such a boost of complete and utter f u r y he can’t help but watch in detached fascination as he watches Superman’s eyes meet his in a very very slow motion and widen at whatever he sees on his face before taking out the kryptonite toothpick all of them carry on their person for emergencies and piercing it right through the tissue of Superman’s still frozen shoulder blade and punching him hard enough to break his jaw.
When he blinks out of the speedforce, he has a quickly calming Robin on his back smiling relief into his shoulder, a currently in pain and weak Kryptonian moaning in the corner, and various ‘heroes’ staring at everything in growing horror.
Barry nudges his still covered head against Dick’s (and thank god they both have their cowl and mask on) and asks gently and lovingly even as he makes the adults in front of him pale at his expression, “Are you alright, Sunshine?"
