An unanswered question hung in the air, pressing enough that it didn’t need to be asked again. “Before he started murdering people, Stain used to be my hero. He’s the reason I applied for the hero course at UA, and the reason I believed… still believe that I can make a difference. I had hoped people could pay homage to his values without invoking violence, but I guess that was too much to ask for.”
Touya shifted, perhaps trying to get more comfortable. “At this point, what other way is there?”
Akiko paused, and scrambled for words. They didn’t come. Akiko gave up, and tried something else. “I don’t entirely know, I really don’t. But… I’m going to figure it out. I have to believe I can figure it out, with the help of my friends. What about you? Why did you come?”

Fukuhara Akiko grew up in a part of society neglected by the hero system, simply because the neighbourhood was poor. Their one goal: Get into UA, learn from the best and create a just, new society.
