Description:

Percy Weasley went into politics knowing that he could end up facing his own moral decay but was certain that his own honour was stronger. He didn't step into his new role as a spy within the Ministry of Magic so much as he fell, spiralling out of control, with only Severus Snape as his one tether to any semblance of sanity. He is not foolish enough to think that he has the moral high ground in any sense of the word. He might feel something for Severus, but he wasn't foolish enough to hope that Severus looked at him and saw nothing more than something he wished to study. Research. Peel back the layers surrounding his brain and see what made Percy tick.

Severus wondered how Percy could fail to see that he was a marvel.

Notes:

This series does not follow exact timelines and events have been substantially altered. Outside of that, I have tried to remain as faithful as I could to the spirit of the series while taking drastic liberties with world-building, character development, and other plots.

Tacenda: (n.) things better left unsaid; matters to be passed over in silence. is dedicated to Birdie (who couldn't decide how she wanted the story to end)
