Summary
I like your glasses, Barbara had said, once hands had been shaken. Melissa had smiled at her, slowly at first, her mouth morphing into a grin once she realised the compliment was genuine. Then she’d risen from her chair to return back to her classroom, though not before throwing Barbara a wink over her shoulder as she went through the door frame and the sun danced in her hair and Barbara nearly choked on her coffee.
