Gerald nodded, pecked Barbara on the cheek and waved goodbye to Melissa as he followed the others out of the room.
With no teachers in sight, the crew relaxed, shaking out their arms, and pulling out snacks and water bottles, joking as they headed to a repurposed classroom. Gerald found himself relaxing along with them, the tension gone now the camera was off.
It was as he was sitting there, waiting, that one of the crew offered to let Gerald take a sneak peek at some of the footage they’d taken so far.
Excited about the idea, and about sharing what he saw later with Barbara, Gerald nodded and scooted his chair closer to the laptop on the desk.
What he saw… shocked him.

A long suffering sigh escaping him, Josh finally looked at her. “I know this assignment’s been a bit longer than you’re used to, but are you really so starved of stimulus that you’re creating relationships where there aren’t any?”
Affronted, Jenn punched his arm. “Ass! You know I love observing people. And these two,” her shoulders dropped as she softened at the thought of them. “They’ve got something, Josh, come on, you know I’m not imagining this.”
Josh pinched the bridge of his nose. “I…” he groaned. “Fine. They do share an abnormal number of affectionate and knowing looks.
