Summary
Billy was an angry guy, everybody knew that, hell, even the grownups were a little afraid of him (and that was an understatement). And while his destructive anger has simmered down to weekly explosion after the whole Star court incident, he was still a thing to be terrified of.
Steve's an antidote for that curse.

"Fuck, is that Steve Harrington on my bed?"
"...looks like it" Eddie gulps, taking in the sight before him, it seems almost like a dream. Or it might as well be, he has a series of dreams based on this exact scenario.
"Shit, he is even prettier than before" Billy groans and Eddie really couldn't disagree.
Or, when Dustin gives him a chance at vacation, Steve reluctantly accepts, knowing well enough the kid has something planned. All he wanted to do was lay back and enjoy some nice beer, sleep in late, and just, just chill. Was that too much to ask? Apparently, yes. Cue meeting old crushes and rekindling of feelings that they all thought had disappeared.
Also, did he mention Max purposely switching his room with particular someone?

“Billy, are you okay?” Steve asks, worried, he knows it's not easy to be okay after all that mess, Billy doesn’t talk about it either- aside from the obvious nightmares, so it’s concerning when he goes all quiet.
"I am fine" Billy grunts, his eyes were trained on him but they were in a daze "just really fucking horny for you"
"W-What-" He chokes, pushing the brakes before he lands them in an accident, good thing they had reached his place "U-Uh- you wanna sleep with me?"
"Not- Not just that- I-" Steve can see it's getting hard for Billy to pace his thoughts, it's like he'd fall asleep right in the middle of the conversation "You make me smile"
"Oh" Steve blushes, he was not expecting that. "You- uh-"
"And also super horny, but that's not the point.” He slurs “You make me happy. And… hard. But mostly happy. Wait, mostly hard… both?" He then looks at Steve before nodding again "Both."

Summary
Steve Harrington only wishes for one thing, to leave his so-called legacy behind and start a new life somewhere unknown. But life gets in the way when his father decides to marry off his step-sister to a complete bastard, William Hargrove, and sends him as some sort of unwilling liaison to make sure everything goes smoothly.
He wants to get this over with, he really does, but the Hargrove heir has caught his scent, but then Steve has fallen into his prey, and then things get out of control pretty quickly. It is all good and fine until he starts to lose himself, starts to doubt if he will make it to the other side without blood on his hand.

“Yeah, and I am used to that shit.” She ignores his ‘language, Max!’, “But it’s been way too long since he exploded like that. He was fine a week before. Fix it.”
“And what, I have a ‘fix Billy’ button somewhere in the house?”
“Dude, I am serious. You don’t know how bad it has gotten because you are cooped up with Robin, and Nancy.”
Or, an angry Billy, confused Steve, miscommunication that resolves with Steve's one smile, and sappy romance. Steve has no idea what kind of power he has over the blond ball of explosion, despite it being obvious to everyone.
