Summary
He pushed the door open, choking as memories flooded back to him. His mother. Vince and Greg. Blaise- Pansy, Millie. Tears found themselves running down his face, Draco's hand reaching the wall to steady himself. His knees gave way, failing him as he fell to the hard floor of the Manor. He didn't deserve to cry. He threw his wand, wincing at the audible cracking and splintering. He almost went to grab it and check but… Who cared at this point. He was better off destroying it before he found more blood on his stained hands.
No quicker than Draco falling apart in this Manor, the door flung open. Draco pushed himself up, fear creeping over his back in slow and painful waves. He turned to his wand. He crawled forward as quickly as he could, his knees going numb to the pain. Their footsteps were heavy, each slow and drawn-out step increasing Draco's heartbeat. He desperately reached out for his wand, stretching his fingers out, until he heard a loud voice speaking, projecting their words across the entirety of the manors hall.
“Avada-“
Green light filled his sights, and he couldn't help but feel like this was a fitting end for such a horrible person.
“Kedavra.”

Summary
Lucius’s bright platinum hair showed around the corner, his face unamused. “Draco Malfoy.” He growled, taking large strides to get closer to Draco. “You have taken something that you could not even attempt to wrap your head around. Hand it over and inform me of which one helped you and there will be no punishment.” His hand snapped forward, palm facing up and open.
Draco grabbed the book, holding it closer to himself. “… Par-“ “Don't. You do not want to be doing this, Draco. Hand the book over. I will take it forcefully if needed, but it won't end well for you.” Lucius demanded, his lips curling in a snarl. “Book?” Draco tried, but it was clear he had long been caught. “Tell me which. Hand the book over.” He repeated, “This is the final chance I am giving you. You will not be able to understand or use it no matter how hard you try.”
“No one got it for me. I just f-“ Draco started, and Lucius lifted his hand. Draco closed his mouth, flinching preemptively. After a moment, Draco opened his eyes again, only for Lucius’s hand to now connect with Draco's cheek.

Summary
Bellatrix Lestrange was standing ahead of him, in the main hall of the Manor. It was dim, but her skin was still ghostly pale. Despite her year-long stay, she still looked like she couldn't believe she was in the Malfoys' home. “Oh, Draco.” She said, tilting her head with interest. “It's great to see you again,” She called, smiling. Her voice was harsh and grating on his ears, echoes of her haunting laughter within her speech. “You're so much bigger than you were before you left for Hogwarts!”
Her dress contrasted with the red chair she was standing in front of, which was a bright green. The dress itself was a deep brown, mangled from long-finished fights. Her long hair was less matted than it had been when he left - Her curls were even somewhat defined. Draco looked back up at her face. The blood had started returning to her face, despite still looking sickly thin. She looked just like Draco had seen her in his hallucination on the train in his first year.
It was startling.
