Grian’s fist connects with Scar’s temple with a small crack.
He pulls his fist that is now covered in Scar’s blood, as well as his own, away.
Scar brings a hand up to the spot, and then pulls it away, looking at red fingers.
Scar looks from his and, to Grian’s fist, to his face.
his legs collapse under him, (Grian could swear Scar was smiling).
Grian jumps forward to grab him but is too slow.
The brunet’s head lands in the sand with a thud.

Summary
Grian has only been at camp for three days.
He barely knows anyone, and his cabin is so chaotic (trust me he loves causing chaos, but that’s a lot. who knew cabin 11 would be that crazy?).
He has migrated to the big lawn with a pencil and notebook.
He sits down in the sun warmed grass, opening the notebook up, and starting a letter to his sister Pear, who joined the Hunters of Artemis last summer. He misses her sometimes.
The unclaimed seventeen year old boy sits in the grass, watching the other kids run around, well brainstorming what to write.
That's when Grian sees him.
They are a boy about his own age. He has brown hair, with colorful flowers woven into it. He pushes himself around in a wheelchair, as two other kids (most likely his godly siblings) walk with him down towards the dining pavilion for lunch.
He is on his feet before he knows it. He feels like he is on autopilot walking towards the three campers.
or, Grian has only been at camp for three days, and sees a hot guy he get a crush on. said guy (Scar) develops a crush on Grian, chaos ensues.

When Scar has not eaten (human flesh) in a while, his instincts start to control him.
When this happens it's really hard for him to communicate because his body can only seem to make vex noises.
Grian told him he could have a bite or two whenever he needs it. as long as he keeps it above his belt, and if Grian tells him to stop. He needs to.

Grian adores his Scar snuggles.
He’ll never admit it, but he loves curling up on top of the vex hybrid, draping his red, yellow, blue wings over the two of them, and soaking up Scar’s warmth.
He is certainly not expecting it when Scar grabs his upper arms, flipping him over onto his back in a mess of multi courlored feathers.
Grian looks in Scar’s eyes, and all he can see in the now gray-blue iris is hunger.
or Scar goes from snuggle mode, to hungry Vex mode. (then he is guilty he made Grian hurt, but Grian comforts him.)

Grian lets out a squawk of surprise as he lands on his wings.
Scar stares down at him with hungry pale blue eyes, his breathing heavy.
“Scar, what are you doing?” Grian asks, trying to push the taller man off of him.
or, Scar is fantasizing about eating his boyfriend alive. Said boyfriend, does not know until Scar tries to eat him. an when he does, he consents.

Grian stretches out his parrot wings as he enters his dorm room, closing the door behind himself.
He had a full day of classes and a shift at his part time job at one of the many coffee shops on the college campus, and he is exhausted.
The avian looks at his wings as he sets his messenger down by his desk, and groan, they are a mess.
"What's wrong, Gri?" Scar, Grian's roommate, asks as the dirty blond boy pulls off his red sweater, leaving him in just a white tank top with holes in the back for his wings.
"Wings." Grian answers, kicking off his trainers and sitting on his bed.
He starts to preen the feather he can reach.
"Do you want me to help you?" Scar asks him.
or, Scar preens Grian's wings -> Scarian snuggles.
