Techno looked up at the clock on the wall. “Probably in about an hour.”
“But that’s such a long time! Wilbur promised he’d read me a bedtime story.”
“Guess you’re gonna have to wait.”
Tommy stared at the floor, thinking. You could almost hear the tiny cogs and wheels turning in his brain. He looked back up at Techno. “Can you read me a bedtime story?”
Techno blinked. “What?”
“Can you read me a bedtime story?”
Or, Tommy wants Techno to read him a bedtime story. Techno reluctantly obliges.

The air is cold against him as he sits there, it’s dark and the night covers him like a blanket. A cold blanket. A bit counterintuitive if anyone were to ask him. He takes a deep breath and starts to hum. When he first made up his mind about the whole thing Tommy decided he wanted to die while listening to a good song. He gave up on which exactly but he still holds onto the strings from his past so he silently sings along with one of his old favourites.
“That’s The Front Bottoms, yeah?” A voice speaks up from behind him, making him jump and turn his head quickly.
“Who the fuck are you?”

Tubbo puts his mug down. Yea right. Like they actually mean that. Tommy said the exact same thing to him so many years ago and do you see him even caring about Tubbo's wellbeing anymore? no. Wilbur said the exact same thing when Schlatt wouldn't let him take a break from paperwork, otherwise using him as a punching bag. Do you see Wilbur ever giving the slightest hint of that brotherhood anymore? no. People lie to him all of the time. If they're not lying to him, they're using him for something. That's just how it's always been.
