Summary
Hwang Hyunjin knows that his person is Lee Felix; maybe it is the way that Felix feels like another piece of him that is simply away from him and when they’re together, everything is slotted in place the way it should be. Any other twenty-two year old boy would probably try and question that almost painful kind of fondness that Hyunjin has for his best friend but Hyunjin doesn’t; nothing has really forced his hand so far.
That changes, of course; tonight, Hyunjin finds himself standing stock still in a room that is spinning around him, laced with alcohol and such a shocking amount of jealousy that it knocks the air out of him. Felix is halfway on someone’s lap- a boy with dark hair with streaks of green and a carved jawline- and their mouths are fused together with a level of assured confidence that comes as yet another blow to Hyunjin.

‘You are.” Minho mutters, pulling a half formed heart shaped smile from Jisung but it steals all of Minho's all over again.
“The person you turn to on your worst days and the first person you call when something good happens,” Jisung continues, his eyes glazed over with unshed tears as he looks at Minho with such earnest affection that it takes effort not to be flattened by it, “Because you are that person for me, and more.”
“It feels kind of redundant to tell you that I am in love with you-” Jisung says, so close that Minho can feel the quiver in his bones, “because what I feel for you is so beyond love and desire, Min-hyung. It’s what lies at the very core of me, in the very foundation of who I am.”
or a college AU where minho and jisung are ridiculously in love with each other, wholly unaware that the other person is too so they pine in silence till they cannot anymore.

“Ah- there it is-” Minho finds himself saying, thumb gently pressing against the mole on Jisung’s cheek, “the lone star.’
Jisung giggles like Minho is the silliest man on earth and you know what, maybe he is. Jisung isn’t heavily freckled, actually the only spot he has is the mole on his cheek. It’s nothing exceptional, just a little thing that sits close to Jisung’s dimple but it’s so wholly endearing to Minho, something he often fixates on for embarrassingly long minutes when the younger boy is too caught up in something to really notice. It winks and blinks at Minho like a lone star, the one that guides him to Jisung and his heart shaped smile.
or a college AU in which minho silently pines for jisung as he takes off his makeup, utterly enamored by the mole on his cheek.
