Summary
Solaris, a mortal raised in a secluded temple, is abducted and thrust into the care of a pack of "Shadow Bloods"—vampiric, fae-like immortals who reveal that he was never truly human. He discovers he's an Obsequiate, a mortal being engineered to act as sustenance, companion, and servant to these vampiric creatures.
Within the manor, each member of the pod relates to him differently: cruelty, fascination, obsession, and distorted affection pull him in opposing directions. As Solaris struggles to endure captivity, cracks begin to form in the household’s hierarchy. Old rivalries, unresolved betrayals, and whispered rumors of past wounds resurface, hinting at a truth far darker than Solaris was prepared to face.
Forced to adapt in order to survive, Solaris must navigate a dangerous balance between resistance and submission—while deciding whether freedom is something he can still recognize if he ever reaches it.

Summary
In the frozen wasteland of Ithos, twins Kieran and Nila live a quiet life of domestic routine—a peaceful prison they ache to escape.
