Summary
Scrooge McDuck's family leaves for a vacation for a little bit of time. He has hallucinations and dreams that he can't tell are real or fake. When they come back, he get's very confused. He sees a therapist for help but only gets worse. One of the main causes of this, or awakening of the mental illness, is his childhood trauma. I was a bit afraid in my last story to dive into such deep themes, so you may see that I might've barely touched the water. However, here we go more into it. We go into abuse too and even an alcoholic Scrooge. This story is meant to be about how mental illness affects people and that we shouldn't just define them as 'crazy'. We are going into his head and finding out why he does these things. Also, I believe that when Scrooge pushed his family away in the tv show it was because he was afraid of getting someone else hurt like he hurt Della. He probably blames himself for Della's disappearance in space. Not to mention when he lashes out on the kids, it's not because he blames them its because its his way of coping. He blames himself, so he takes it out on others (which is a bad way to cope, but just think about it. He didn't just forget about Della).

Summary
The family is going on vacation without Scrooge and he feels alone. They feel he's gotten too clingy, but will they see his spiral of self-doubt? Also, some characters mentioned in the tags may appear in a certain chapter. Also, I am so glad this has notes! I also post on Wattpad under the same name. This is my first work I'm posting on here, but I'm very proud of it. I was really motivated to write on mental health, since we should address it more often. I'll also post another story that is like this one, but goes into Psychosis instead (like schizophrenia, but on a larger scale of symptoms). I did a lot of research for this, but I don't mind if anybody criticizes. If there is something you see that's inaccurate, just let me know and I'll fix it. Also, for art work I have posted on Wattpad and will create more on there. My name is the same as on here: McDuckIndustries01 (inspired by important person).
