Summary
In a post-nuclear world, humanity huddles in fortified cities amid desolate wastelands filled with mutated creatures. No one dares to venture out of the safe havens with their strong heroes and shining walls. Everyone but two individuals, who defy the norm:
Quackity, raised amidst crime in Essempi, rose to wealth before having to flee his shattered dream.
Niki Nihachu, orphaned in tragedy, searched for answers in Essempi. Having found them she settled down happily, but in an impulsive moment, she decides to flee her old life with an infamous figure.
Five years later, they return to a changed city which is now harbouring fresh secrets, new faces, and is more dangerous than ever before.
But old emotions bubble up slowly and unstoppable, and there is nothing our protagonists can do against it.But Niki and Q are not the only People in Essempi with tragic pasts, strange relationships and a shit ton of fun - there are so many more whose stories can be told, so let's do just that.
