The two biggest organized crime groups did not get along, to say the least. The Las Nevadas Mafia and the Syndicate were far from the best of friends. But, through a tangled web of corrupt police chiefs, blackmail, and an unaccounted murder, the new bosses of each group, Quackity and Wilbur, are forced to work together to keep both of their respective mobs out of prison. And hey, why not throw a wager in there as well?

Demon slayers Wilbur Soot and Tommy Innit are two demon slayers from a long line of swordsmen. They have been tasked with exterminating the demon that has been feeding on humans. Their only goal in life is destroying any and all demons.
Tubbo is a demon who must devoure humans to survive. He lives on a mountain with the rest of his family, His shapeshifting brother, Quackity, and his Hybrid father, Schlatt. They want a peaceful life.
These two things cannot coexist.
However, there is a more powerful force at play, one that will peak their mutual interests. Will they be able to stop the Tyrant?

He would think perhaps Tommy is a little young to be a target of hero society’s attention, but he knows better. He was nineteen when he met Tubbo, only thirteen with bruised knees and scabs kissing his face like a mother, both weathering the political climate with hair shaved down to the scalp. They were too young then, Tubbo’s too young now. It’ll never change. Quackity wouldn’t know how to handle if it did.
The killers of each generation just seem to get younger and younger, never quite adjusting to the change of handling smooth coloured pencils to the biting iron of a shotgun. How can you? To be safe is to create, not to draw needless caution in colouring between the lines, not to fit between paper-thin cracks of the pavement that is the ruins of L’Manberg.

On impulse, he blurted out, “Do you want to get coffee sometime?”
Quackity stiffened, surprise flashing across his features. Panic suddenly flared in Wilbur’s chest as he realized the implications of what he offered. It was one thing to come over and hang out as friends, and a very different thing to go out for coffee. He had crossed an invisible line in the sand, and not an unimportant one.
While friendship across the hero-villain divide was fine and even encouraged, romantic relationships were far too complicated and could turn bad very quickly. He knew that, and Quackity knew that too. While coffee didn’t have to be romantic, it was far too close for comfort when they had already been drifting on the edge of impropriety for so long.
That’s why he was shocked when Quackity jerkily nodded his head.

Wilbur was a villain, once. Quackity was a hero, once. Now, they’re both just retired single fathers who happen to like each other a little (or a lot). But when an old friend comes to Wilbur with an offer to get back in the game, they’ll have to decide what’s more important: their allegiances, or love.

You could be very very sure of something, believe in it with your entire being, but there will always be that tiny probability, the 0.000001% chance that you’re wrong. A tiny sliver whose percentage is too small to be counted on the pie chart. A drop of water in the ocean. A grain of sand on a beach. Always that tiny chance that ruins the idea of 100%.
In Quackitys opinion, that 0.000001% chance was a load of bullshit.
or Quackity was perfectly happy running his casino and being respected and feared as an informant until a particular hero and a journalist start intruding on his life. It's when he starts to get attached that it occurs that oh, this situation might be a little more complicated than first anticipated.
