Summary
Emmerdale AU. Life is kind of shit for Robert Sugden. His relationship with Chrissie is over and he's staying on his little sister's couch. He's homeless and jobless until Vic finds him a job as a wardrobe assistant for a record label. It's Robert's idea of hell.
Until he meets a certain someone at the rehearsal studio.
Maybe the new job won't be so crap after all.

Summary
Robert Sugden has spent his whole life lying. He slept with his wife’s sister, he charmed his way to the top of his father-in-law’s business, but now he is playing a game built on lies. The Traitors. He is the ideal player for this game. He can easily lie through his teeth, get people to trust him, but what he struggles with is coming to terms with himself. Meeting Aaron Dingle throws him off his path, but he tries to stick to his game plan, but getting to the final with Aaron and having to choose between money or him is the hardest decision he has ever made.
AU of Emmerdale and Coronation Street in a game of The Traitors! The game is in the readers hands though. After each chapter, YOU vote for who is murdered. You decide who the suspicion is thrown on. YOU

Summary
After the death of John Sugden, there aren't many suspects for who killed him. The police believe it was a suicide, but Victoria can't live with the guilt that she has for killing her own brother. She feels like she's alone. That Robert doesn't care she killed their brother and how much it is affecting her. He does care though. He just isn't showing it. The nightmares are getting worse, but just like Victoria he feels alone. That nobody cares, but Aaron does. It's eating him alive to see his boyfriend like this. There's too much going on to talk about the nightmares and Robert's mental health. He can never find the right time because there'll never be a right time.
*THIS MAY NOT BE FULLY ACCURATE TO EMMERDALE'S TIMELINE. IT'S JUST A BIT OF FUN, SO SORRY IF I GET SOMETHINGS MESSED UP*

Summary
They are told only untainted love can elevate them to the Purelands, out of this hell; but love can never end well, Robert's sure of that. If watching it destroy his family wasn't enough proof, he himself has been the downfall of countless others. As a lure, he can take the form of a person's deepest desires, make them fall in love, use it to destroy them. He does what he has to, to survive in this city, with the powers he's been given; he's never understood the weakness of those who fall, who give in to that person they can't stay away from, jeopardise themselves.
Out in the backlands, trying to survive the repressive regime, Aaron knows he just needs to keep his head down, keep working and keep himself safe so he can be there to protect his sister. He knows he must ignore the hunger for love that keeps growing inside him or he'll risk everything; and ignore it is exactly what he intends to keep doing.
When Robert is sent back to his childhood village with the intention of condemning another unsuspecting soul, will either of them be able to do what they know they must to survive?

Summary
“Let me take care of you,” Aaron pleaded, because it was the only thing he knew how to do right - use his hands that had seen so much violence to take care of Robert, put his broken pieces back together. He sometimes thought it was maybe the only thing he’d done right in his entire life, the way he could soothe Robert Sugden’s broken heart, the thing he’d been put on earth to do.
“Okay,” Robert relented.

Summary
The kiss- the sex- the closeness of it all; the way Robert had crumpled in his arms, the desperation in his eyes. It was just a moment, a mistake. A brief lapse in judgment. A moment where everything felt raw and uncertain, but it had meant nothing.
It was a reaction to Robert’s breakdown, to the memories, to the flood of things he thought he’d left behind.
Nothing more.
He should have known it's never that easy with him and Robert.
-
On a faithful day in August, Aaron gives in to temptation and finally sleeps with Robert. But it was just a one off- a mistake brought on by Robert's breakdown. It absolutely does not mean Aaron will sleep with him again! (Two weeks later, Aaron sleeps with him again. Then, he doesn't stop sleeping with him.)
Aka, the post August 18th rewrite in which they end up in an actual full blown affair- just like they deserve.

Summary
Any chance to have sex with Aaron is a chance he’ll usually take. Barns, cars, laybys. A bench in a public park after dark. Posh hotels and shit hotels. An open field. When they’re both exhausted and climbing into bed at the same time. When one of them is barely upright, tired out from a lifetime of aches and pains, and entirely cared for by the other. Vic’s box room, Home Farm, Moira’s couch once or twice. The Woolpack. Aaron’s bedroom in the Woolie, every bathroom in the Woolie, the front room after closing and lights out at the Woolie, the basement, the hallway, the trash area round back that smells like worse than slurry.
Very rarely does Robert turn down sex with Aaron. When he does, it’s always solely for Aaron’s benefit.

Summary
“You’re pathetic mate!”
I shouldn’t be surprised because everyone in my life has tried to tear me down in some form. I was everyone’s favorite pushing bag. But I never expected it from him or maybe I just wanted to ignore the signs. I set up this image of the perfect villain, the best fall guy and there is nothing that people want more than someone they could blame. Someone that would make them feel like they were better than they truly were to feel like a good person.
As I watched the love of my life walk away I wondered if there was more to my life than being the villain to everyone’s story. I just wanted to be happy but I guess I was too desperate for it. A part of me was angry at the younger man, it screamed that no matter how much I berated and tried to hurt him, I never did it in public. I never humiliated him so publicly that even the people that hated him winced in pity. At that moment I didn’t want a reconciliation, I just wished that I could forget everything and everyone, especially him.
“Please someone, anyone, throw this feeling that drives me crazy into the fire, let it all burn to ashes and take away this crushing pain. Please lend me a hand because I want to forget.”

Summary
“You said I deserved to be really happy” He tipped Robert's head up to meet his eye. Robert nodded.
“I can't see that happening with you” Robert's face contorted to what he can only describe as complete despair, like he's been told he'd have to amputate both of his arms.
He wished he could say they parted in anger, or they parted amicably, but they didn't, they just… ended.
AKA:
Almost ten years ago, after Gordon got sent down. Aaron told Robert that there can never be a future between them, and with nothing keeping him in the village, Robert left. Now, a decade later, with old scars and a brand new set of traumas, he’s finally returned.
