非常出彩的作品，不光是加入了殖民主义内容的讨论与反思，让我想到了《拉丁美洲—被切开的血管》这本书，而且本文中的亚当斯一家也并非网飞剧版所塑造的反主流的哥特风（说实话很赞同作者在后记中提到的一个观点，亚当斯哥特的点在于在他们是anti-cultural，而且是实实在在地对抗文化），还引入了一点魔法的设定，丰富了世界观但不至于到要挥舞魔杖的程度这个度就恰到好处。
这篇我才看到第六章，总共23章。看完结局后会再来编辑我的感想。

Agnes gasped sharply behind her.
Fester blinked, then raised an eyebrow with a crooked smirk. “Huh. I didn’t know Wednesday had such... glittery taste. Can’t say I saw that one coming.”
The paramedics looked between them again—then nodded.
“Alright. Get in.”
As they loaded Wednesday into the back of the ambulance, Enid climbed in beside her, hand still tightly wrapped around Wednesday’s. Her tears had stopped, but her chest ached like it was caving in.
