Daisy remembered the sheer endless days she’d spent in hospitals. How alone she’d felt when her parents weren’t there. And she remembered how her parents had changed too. She might’ve been the sick one, but they were the people who were kept up all night and still had to go to work in the morning.
She remembered her dad’s constant smell of cigarettes, the tired smiles they’d give her, the big dark circles under their eyes, the lingering tension between them after an argument that hadn’t been as quiet as they’d thought.
“We’ll get through this sweetheart.” Her dad said then.OR: Daisy had blood cancer when she was five. Now, it's back. And she doesn't want anyone to know. This is the story of how Daisy deals with her illness and her feelings for Chloe, Alec blames himself for just about everything that happend now or in the past, Tess fucks up more than once but doesn't admit it and Ellie tries to find out why the hell her friend/boss acts so weird and looks like death.
