Liz was never in Roswell to become an anchor for Max, to make it home, so he was never content to live beneath the radar without answers. The summer before Sophomore year, following a breadcrumb trail of clues to try to find who he is and where he came from, Max runs away to LA in search of answers, but finds much more than he'd ever imagined.

This fic is set after the summer vacation where everyone separated, season one happened exactly the same as in the series but the second season has a change, since in this fic Michael had decided to try something with the bottle job Courtney and He had told Maria that they should go out with other people.
The fic is Candy because she is my favorite couple...but there is going to be angst and Light OCs with the main characters so that the story makes more sense.
Actually my idea is to represent the strong Maria that we all know she is and that unlike what Michael and everyone thinks, she is far from being defenseless and here she will demostrate it.
It made me very angry to see how Maria was sometimes made out to be a fool and it seemed even more unfair that Michael was so insensitive towards her feelings.
He was always more interested in her alien side and he didn't mind taking Maria in the middle and in this Fic she takes her place and distances herself, letting Michael notice and feel her absence as something more than his ex-girlfriend and questioning himself about his past decisions. .

Instead of mind-warpping Alex, Tess comes to him and asks him for his help in decoding the book. Alex being Alex, agrees.
But the two soon learn that by decoding the book, they have brought all forms of danger to Roswell... and in order to keep everybody they love safe, they make up an elaborate plan for Alex to die in a gruesome but suspicious car crash and for Tess to be framed for it.
Now, ten years later, Tess, Alex, and her young son are on the run from an enemy far more dangerous than they could have ever imagined. So dangerous, in fact, that not even those they left in Roswell are safe anymore. To right what they've done wrong, Tess and Alex decided to return to Roswell to warn their friends of their unknown enemy and to give them the true translation of the book.
But are they ready to pay the price for returning home?
