His blue eyes snapped at him when he walked up to Jill but he stopped short when Clive placed his blade against his neck and his wings spread out in a threatening manner.
“Not another step”, he growled low. “I mean it”, he pressed the blade a bit deeper into the stranger’s neck while ignoring the bigger man looking nervous and his scent of fear was emitted.

Summary
Mere moments after he is found in the ruins of Phoenix Gate, Clive awakens as an omega.
