Summary
To save his father’s failing business, Kyungsoo ends up agreeing to an arranged marriage to the heir of a South Korean business mogul. But the more time he spends with his new husband, and his extremely mysterious family, the more he realises that Baekhyun might not be entirely human. To make things worse, his nights are filled with paralysing nightmares that leave him drained. The overprotective and obsessive behaviour of Baekhyun also doesn’t help and he’s all but a prisoner in his new life.
When Baekhyun agreed to marry the plain-looking human, he only wanted to buy his own freedom from his father. But the more time he spends with Kyungsoo, the more he realises that he is by no means an ordinary person. There are more conspiracies in play than he’d suspected. He can’t figure out why Kyungsoo keeps having strange, vivid nightmares and continues landing himself in unexpected dangers. Keeping Kyungsoo prisoner is the only way, even if he hates him for it.
Bound as they are by marriage and duty, they have no choice but to let go of their differences and cooperate with each other, to gain the freedom they both desire.
