His breath ghosts your cheek as he leans in. "Easy," he teases, voice low. Your friends laugh again, blissfully unaware. "You're starting to really look like you wanna hit me."
You turn to him, lips pulling back into a grin that feels more like bared teeth. Your fingers curl around his forearm, nails pressing into his sweater until you feel his skin dent. He doesn't flinch, only chuckles softly, the sound barely audible.
"I do." You dig your nails deeper.
The admission earns you a snort and a laugh as he draws back. "You should," he murmurs, and he sits up as if you're playing some stupid game with him, as if he actually wants you to hit him. A part of you thinks he does, and another part really wants to.

Mark swears his life was supposed to go somewhere.
Maybe not somewhere far, or somewhere grand, but at least somewhere where he had a vague sense of home. Familiarity was all he pined for, and not the sense he gathers from being surrounded by variants of himself. The number grows, tension rises, and dynamics form despite his uncomfortable and unwilling hesitancy to talk to - well - himself.
If he listened to dad, maybe he wouldn't be in this scenario. And if he listened to dad, he definitely wouldn't have muddied feelings to the version of himself portraying as the monster, taught his mannerisms to the very way Nolan carries his voice. He haunts Mark in the hallways, leers over his shoulders during practice, and Mark could swear he purposefully lectures him like he's a child. It's annoying. Bothersome. And Mark isn't sure if he likes the attention, the disgusting feeling of being back in his universe and under his parents roof, or if his ego is through the roof to find himself attractive.

And now he's trapped in a universe similar to his, except... zombies. The putrid smell made him want to vomit.
Y/n didn't have a very good life either... and now she had to survive in one of the worst moments of humanity. Why did the end of the world have to be a damn zombie apocalypse?... Wait, that guy is wearing a ridiculous outfit... My God, he has a huge ass.

A/N: My take on what would happen if Maskless Mark and the Original Mark still met, but Maskless never lost his William.
