One year after Rio Ranger is shot by her father, Gashu Satou, he is rebuilt and fixed by Tia Safalin, they have struggled with severe depression and guilt after what she’s done to the participants and what happened in The Room of Lies, he currently lives with Kai Satou and his fiancee, Q-Taro Burgerberg. A few days ago, Rio Ranger gets a letter in the mail inviting them to a special school for the talented students of Japan called Hope’s Peak Academy, they were assigned as the Super High School Level Confectionist.
